Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

She smiled and nodded her head. "Well all that cheesy talk and small talking they try to do. I don't fall so easily for it. Never done it. If I don't like that other person then I don't fall for it. No point to give them false hopes," she said there now with a smile. She saw what waitress did there now awhile pouring drink, she wanted to roll her eyes again on it but she didn't. Only what she could think is that waitress likes him but seemed like Alexander didn't feel same to that waitress. She just smiled for some reason because of it.

She nodded her head again and still had smile on her face. "Well I am glad too," she said with a smile. When he asked what Auror does then she had to thought how to explain. "Well you can say it's like detective in muggle world. We figure out murders, stealing cases etc but everything what has to do something with magic," she said there now a quietly again, she vouldn't say it with loud voice. She used some words what some muggles found weird and they could be in shock. She wasn't sure how Alexander woukd react now. So she looked at him anf waited what he will do now.

"Well that's good that you don't fall for it. Some of the men that use those lines just want someone in their bed." Alex said shaking his head at the audacity of some men. He wasn't going to deny when he was younger he tried that but not since he was twenty-one. "I just like having someone to talk to, I like to have intelligent conversations." He watched how Aria acted when the waitress tried to flirt with him. He smiled then looked down at the napkin that his drink was sitting on. "I'm guessing you didn't like how that girl was throwing practically throwing herself out there. I don't blame you though," He said as he moved the napkin from under his drink. He showed her it and smiled at her with a teasing grin. "So which lucky guy should we give this napkin to?" He grinned even more at his own words.

Alex looked at her and realized that she was also a part of the world he found out about. He heard the word Auror several times coming into the country just never pinpointing it. "So you do magic? What's it like living with magic?" He asked curiously wondering then wanting to hold his tongue with his next question but couldn't. "Can you show me? I'm a doctor and what I've been hearing from people I can't quite believe it. I mean I'm a neurosurgeon who doesn't know what to believe anymore." His eyes were soft and hopeful that she would show him.

"Well yeah I know they use that for it. I have never believed them since I have seen what they have done other girls. Some of these boys had like after every two day new girl. So called players," she said there and sighed. She hates boys and mans who want her just beacuse they could do that one thing and then dumb the girl. "Yes I didn't like it. Not sure why. I never jave got why you need to flirt so hard around others when you barely know someone. I pefer to get know person first and then when there is something more than friends realtionship I can flirt," she said and sighed again. She smiled when he asked who he could give it. She looked around the bar. "Maybe that man over there. He keeps checking waitresess with her friend," she told and pointed with head towards them. She couldn't point with finger. They sat few meters away from them.

"Well, it's amazing most of times. You can so much with magic, I can't imagine my life out of it," she told there something. She wasn't good at explaing how it was living with magic. "Well I can show it put I'm sure not here since here is so many muggles who might not know anything about magic," she said to him back now with a smile. She really didn't wanna get in trouble because of magic right now.

"Well that's good that your able to see that. Most are not able to and won't see it when someone else points it out." Alex said as he took a long drink from his glass, he was starting to feel the slight feeling of a buzz. "Most of the time women who do that only look at one thing. I don't go for that, I like someone who can have an intelligent conversation." He looked over at the man she was talking about and smiled. He waited for the waitress to be busy and not paying attention to him. He got up and quickly handed the man the napkin saying that the waitress asked if he would give it to the man. He sat back down without anyone noticing what he did and he smiled about it.

"Well at least you have something that is wonderful in your life." He said thinking about all the things that magic could do for the good in his own life. "Maybe sometime when there's no other muggles you can show me."

She nodded her head. "Well yeah. I guess I have good eye on these things," she said there with a small smile. She also have pointed out that her friends that boy might need just one thing from them but they usually doesn't believe and then at the end they got hurt. She never says that she told so them. She just will be there for them as support. She sometimes hates it. "Yeah, intelligent conversation is good thing. You can get person known better," she said there and took a again zip from her drink. She began to get already slowly a drunk there too. She smiled when he did what he did. It was kind of sweet of him to give it away actually. She did get that he didn't want it, that number for sure.

"Well, people see it as wonderful yeah. For me it's part of my life. I'm used with it already," she said there now. "Well sure I can show it to you some other day," she told with her with a weak smile. She really wasn't sure if they would meet again after this yet but she hopes they will. That man sounds to be interesting and also not like any other man who she have met.

((OOC: Sorry it took me so long to reply))

Alex smiled as he looked around the pub at the different faces. "If what I say is rude please feel free to slap me, the way your talking it makes me assume that there's no man in your life?" He asked not wanting to be rude or anything like that. He was just curious about the woman who sat in front of him. It was rare for him to want to know more about someone who wasn't a patient. "You don't have to tell me I was just curious. People who are curious however are the ones who learn the most." He was glad that he was shifting towards wanting to know more about people. He took another sip from his glass as he waited for her to answer.

"That's true, after a while doing something so often it becomes second nature." Alex said as he started relaxing letting his drink sink in. "Well I'll be in the country for a little while longer." Looking around once more he felt like he needed to find something a little more lively. "I'm not trying to be forward or anything but do you wanna find a different place to drink? It's too somber in here for me."

Aria looked and her glass after his question. She slowly nodded her yes since it was true she had no man in her life except her family members who were man. "Yes you are true. I am curious one most of times too," she had to say there now. She was bit of drunk already.

Ms. Lockwood did nodd her head again. "Well I agree with you again," she said. "About that second nature comment," she added. When he asked that maybe they could someone else. She looked around the room and thought about it. "Well, wecan go," she said back to her. She wasn't sure where they should go. "But where we will go?" She had to ask now.

Alex smiled softly and said, "My curiosity usually gets the better of me and sometimes it's not pleasant." He winced slightly at his memory of once when his curiosity went too far. "Let's just say I tend to make sure that I don't get overly curious about something. Now a days you have to make sure that your prepared for what lies behind that door." He looked at her and smiled before emptying his glass. Looking around he wondered what he was truly looking for but knew that at this moment he didn't care.

He smiled and standing holding his hand out to her. "I know the perfect place." He didn't know what it was doing because the alcohol was giving him courage. "It's a great place i found that is a lot better than here. That's if you wanna come and join me," He smiled softly at her wondering if she would take him up on his offer.

Aria nodded her head again. "Curiosity can be good sometimes and sometimes bad since you can end up on trouble if you ask too many questions," she said and did sigh. She remembered too times when she was too curious about things but it didn't end so good for you. "Yeah so true," she said awhile nodding her head.

The girl did finish her glass too. After that she stood up too. She looked at his hand few seconds and then did placed hers on his with small smile on her face. Usually she would have turned such offer probably down but right now there was too much alcohol in her system already. With her free hand she took her bag and then her wine bottle what had still wine in. She didn't wanna waste it. "Let's go," she said with smile.
