Relaxing {open}

Vaughn sighed when Dakota walked over to the young girl and he wanted to leave without any more issues. "Dakota come on, leave her alone and let's leave." He said as he ran a hand through his hair. He walked over and took her hand tugging on it gently. Hearing her next words made him wonder if that was ever was going to turn on him. When she nuzzled up to him he quickly herded them down the hall to avoid any confrontations he'd have to split up. "Breathe, baby it's not worth getting into a fight over." He whispered into her ear as he got them out to the stairs near the Great Hall. He knew that he was more than likely going to hear about it forever in the common room but today he didn't care. He needed air as well as a place to think in the quiet.

Dakota whimpered as Vaughn dragged them away from the girl. She was going to lose him. he was going to yell at her and break up with her for being so mean to his house mate. God she was so stupid. She felt tears fall as she thought about their relationships impending doom. She stopped when they got outside and removed her hand from his, "Well go on then, just get it over with."She said, refusing to make eye contact with him. She whimpered and sighed softly. She was going to lose the best thing that had ever happened to her. She didnt want to lose him, "Look, Im sorry for how I treated her. She just got on ym nerves and I cant always contorl my temper. Just please dont leave me..." She said as more tears fell down her face. "Please, Vaughn, I cant lose you. You mean everything to me. i know weve only just started dating, but I am falling for you really hard and I dont want to lose you!"

Vaughn was taken off guard when she moved away from him, he didn't understand what she was saying. "Dakota what do you mean? I don't understand what your saying." He said looking at her but saw that she wasn't meeting his eyes. It hit him like a ton of bricks, she was expecting him to break up with her just because she told off his house mate. Walking up to her and pulling her into the warmth of his arms. "I'm not going anywhere Dakota, she gets on my nerves as well. I'm not going to end our relationship just because you lost your temper." He said softly, he felt like he was crushing her against his chest. He loosened his grip a little bit on her as he spoke again, "Your not going to lose me." Hearing her say that she was falling hard for him he smiled as he buried his face in her hair. "You will never lose me Kota, I'm yours until you decide I'm not good enough for you anymore." He whispered in her ear.

Dakota looked up at him as the tears spilled out of her eyes. "Youre... not breaking up with me? After I just yelled at your house mate?" She was confused. People usually left after she lost her temper. She didnt understand. But she was happy none the less.

She hugged him as he pulled her into his arms. She felt like she couldnt breathe, but she didnt care. She just held him and cried into his chest. "You will always be mine then. I will never get tired of you and I will never ever deserve you."

She cupped his cheek and kissed him softly. She wanted to tell him.S he wanted to say the three words that were on the tip of her tongue. But she didnt want to scare him. "I..." She didnt know if she should say it or not

"No, I'm not breaking up with you Kota." Vaughn said looking at her when she raised her head to look at him. Still holding her to him he smiled softly at her and wondered why she was upset that she thought he was leaving her. There were times where he lost his temper, sure it happened quite a lot recently but it didn't understand her reasoning. Hearing her words that said that he would always be hers he smiled more at her words.

He kissed her back just as softly, hearing her say one word he knew that she was trying to figure out if she should say it. He put a single finger over her lips and shook his head softly indicating that she should wait to say it. He kissed her lips once more before tucking her under his chin holding her close to him.

Dakota nodded when he put a finger to her lips. She understood what he meant, but she wasnt going to say she loved him. She nuzzled under his chin and hugged him tight. "I think we might be moving to fast." She did really like him, but she wasnt sure if they were doing the right thing by rushing into a relationship. "Do you think maybe we should be friends first?" Part of her hoped he said yes, but a bigger part hoped he said no. She didnt know what she wanted anymore. She just knew that she wanted him by her side in the end

Vaughn heard her words about them moving fast, "Yes I believe that as well. I think we should take baby steps first before anything." He wanted to know more about what Dakota was like. He knew that after everything that happened being her friend was not something he was capable of at the moment. "I couldn't just be your friend Dakota but I will if that's what you want." He said not wanting her to be forced into being with him. He wanted her to have a choice as well and it was not in his nature to push someone into something. Letting go of her, he lead her to a bench that was outside. There was no back to it but it was out of the wind at least. He sat down on the bench and let her decide whether she wanted to sit next to him on it.

"I cant just be your friend either. Ill want to kiss you and hold your hand all the time. It would be absolutely miserable." She held his hand as he lead her to a bench outside. She sat beside him and rested her head on his shoulder. "I want you to be my boyfriend still. I just think we should take baby steps with our relationship since we rushed into the relationship so bloody fast, you know what I mean." She looked up at him with her bottom lip between her teeth. She was nervous as to what he had to say about her proposal

"Yes it will be miserable indeed not being able to do that." Vaughn said as she laid her head on his shoulder. He took her hand in his threading his fingers through hers rubbing his thumb across her knuckles softly. "Yes we should take baby steps in our relationship would be best. It will help us start building a relationship with each other that will last." He said lifting her hand to kiss the back of it as he continued to hold it. "Come on let's get out of the cold and get warm in the castle. I wanted to head to the library to do a few homework pieces if you wanna come with me." He said looking at her as he continued to sit there as snow started to fall down. It was just small amount which probably were getting swept off the top of the castle.

Dakota smiled as he kissed her wrist. She lvoed it when he did cute little things like that that showed he cared for her. She smiled and nodded at his words, "Exactly. Baby steps will form a better relationship between the two of us. Mold it into something strong and sturdy." She smiled when he mentioned the library, she wasnt one to usually go to the library, but for him, she would. She walked with him hand in hand to the room of books. She sat on the couches in the back of the room and watched him do his work. He looked so cute
