Relaxing {open}

"It seemed like it would," Vaughn said and furrowed his brows at the thought of needles and ink. "That's weird for muggles to do, but since they don't have magic that's understandable. I think I'd take magical use of a tattoo though since it seems like it's easier. Why would someone go through a lot of pain just to get something removed after getting it done in the first place?" He looked shocked that someone would do that after getting a tattoo.

"Well I tend to be able to multitask with projects but yours are the only ones I have at the moment." Vaughn said smiling at her. "Well Gryffindor is basically how it seems. It's for those kids who are protectors and some of them are showboats." He looked at her and shifted so that he could face her properly. One of his legs was on the bench bent at the knee with his foot behind the other. "Are you just as mysterious as Slytherin?" Vaughn asked looking at her smiling.

Dakota listened as he ranted about the pain muggle tattoos caused. She giggled and nodded, "Some people grow out of their tattoos and went them removed, or some people are too smash faced drunk when they get ti they get something stupid and want it removed. Either way, its painful as all hell on earth."

When he asked if she was a mysterious girl she nodded, "I can be. But I can also be an open book. It depends on if I like you or not. And I like you." She smiled and rested her head on his shoulder and looked back up at him

Vaughn smiled hearing her laugh thinking that it was a beautiful sound. "If they grow out of them why not get them covered up with one they like better? I don't think I'll ever understand the way muggles think when it comes to things like that." He thought about getting a tattoo several times but he kept rethinking it repeatedly. "I thought about getting a tattoo many times but I'd always have a better idea or I won't like the idea anymore. I think I'd stick with one that I'd like no matter what even if I didn't like it later. There's no way I'm gonna get it removed at all," He said shaking his head at the thought of it.

"I'd like to get to know you Dakota because I like you too." Vaughn said then smiled when she rested her head on his shoulder. When she looked up he smiled more then tucked some hair behind her ear. He slid one arm around her shoulders his hand playing with a few strands of her hair. Her hair felt like silky smooth between his fingers as he continued to play with it. "Are you cold?" He asked since they were out in the open air, he didn't want her to get a cold from being out here.

Dakota smiled as he continued talking about tatoos. "If you want I could draw you something really quick." She took out a piece of paper and a pencil and began sketching. She wasnt even really trying, just doing the movements with her hand that came to mind.

Soon, she had the Gryffindor crest on the paper below her hand and she smiled. She handed it too him and smiled. When he pulled her closer, she gasped but nuzzled into him.

She liked being this close to him. He smelt good. Like the forest and honey. She inhaled deeply and smiled. When asked if she was cold, she shrugged, "A bit. But I can handle it."

"Really?" Vaughn said as he watched her begin sketching something for her. He stopped playing with her hair for a minute then started again. He smiled as he saw it starting to come together beneath her hand. Taking the paper she handed him he folded it like an envelope and put it in his jacket pocket. "Thank you Dakota, I even know where I'm going to get it too." He said then he took her hand in his, without giving himself time to think he lifted it. Bringing her hand to his lips he pressed a small kiss the to the inside of her wrist.

Feeling her nuzzle into him when he had pulled her closer made him smile. Hearing that she was a little bit cold, moved her slightly forward he placing his leg behind her back. His other stayed on the ground then he moved her closer placing her legs over his leg that was not on the bench. It made her closer to him and in the circle of his arms. Taking off his scarf he put it around her neck to keep her warm then grabbed out an extra set of gloves from his jacket. "Here take these so your hands will stay warm. They work very well, my dad put a warming spell on them." Vaughn said smiling softly wanting to keep her warm while they were sitting there.

Dakota was happy when he expressed his liking for her drawing. She smiled and blushed when he kissed her wrist. No one had ever done that before. Then again, she had never spent this much time with a person all at once. She smiled and kissed his cheek.

Suddenly, she was in his lap more or less and had hsi scarf on her neck. It was a Gryffindor scarf and she giggled. She looked like a lion, but she liked it. She liked that he cared enough to let her wear it. Even if it was just for a short amount of time. She blushed and put the glvoes on and mumbled a soft thank you.

Vaughn smiled when she kissed his cheek so he cuddled her close as he his cheek against her hair. He still had one arm around her shoulder and his other was on her knee to keep her legs from slipping. He was content to stay like this but he knew soon they would have to go in. So he savored the contact they had until it was time to head in. "Are you getting warmer?" He asked as he rubbed his thumb along her knee softly.

Hearing a hoot from his owl he looked over as his owl flew down. It landed on his arm that was keeping her legs on his and looked at Dakota. Then it rubbed it's head against her jacket then took off. "Sorry he does that with people he likes then goes off to hunt." Vaughn said smiling softly at her as he thought of something to say to her. "What kind of flowers do you like?" He asked trying to think of anything.

Dakota nodded when he asked if she was getting warmer. "Yeah, I am." She smiled and looked up at him, his eyes seemed to be staring into her soul and she didnt mind.

She heard an owl and flinched a bit when it landed on his shoulder. She didnt trust any bird except for her own, Maleficent. The bird rubbed its head against her and she hesitaantly reached a hand out to pet it as it flew off. "I see."

She smiled at the statement he said about the bird. When he asked about her favorite flower she blushed, "Ironically, it is the rose."

When she said she was getting warmer he smiled and knew that she wasn't cold anymore. "We better get inside soon, it's getting close to lunch time." He said to her but made no move to let her go. He buried his face into her neck taking in the strawberry and spice of her scent. He liked how she smelled, it was a drug to his senses as he then lifted his head. "What should things do you want to know about me?" He asked wanting to know everything about her. "I'll answer any questions you ask, I want to know everything I can about you." He lifted his hand to cup her face his thumb rubbing across her cheekbone.

"Well that's good, what color roses?" Vaughn asked looking at her knowing that valentine's day was coming up. That's when another idea hit him as he sat there wondering what she was going to say. He knew several things that he could do but only one that he felt would work with this girl. She fascinated him beyond belief and he wanted to know everything he can to make her smile as well as hear her giggle.

The moment he mentioned lunch, ehr stomach let out a fearsome roar as a demand to be fed the delicious food of the feast in the great hall. She giggled and wrapped her arms around her stomach to muffle the sounds.

"I want to know everything. Whats your favorite color? Favorite subject? Favorite book? Favorite food. Everything." She smiled and kissed his neck before giving it a small nip. She nuzzled her face into his palm and smiled as she bit her lip softly.

When she was asked what color rose she scrunched her nose a bit and thought for a few moments, "I was thinking maybe purple and black? With like specks of blue." She smiled and giggled to herself softly.
