Darren jumped in shock as he heard someone knock. He was about to tell his house elf to go get the door but then rolled his eyes and stood up to get it himself. There was only one moron who would go all the distance just to visit him. He opened the door, and as he predicted, it was Gin standing there. Still, he grinned happily, glad to see a friendly face. "Hey Gin"

Seeing a grinning face open the door, she grinned right back. Ginevra didn't come here often, this was only her second time but she still felt totally fine being here, like it was something she did regularaly. "Heyya, glad to see moi?"

"Yeah, a lot" Darren admitted, taking a step back so she could enter. He looked around the house, it was clean, but extremely empty compared to Gin's house. Well the main floor was anyways. He had removed the furniture some hours ago, with his father gone, he doubted he would need them. No one ever visited anyways.

Laughing lightly, she stepped in as he moved aside so she could enter. Looking around, she saw the lack of things around and smiled; she loved it. Her house had tons of thing, yes, but that was just because of her mom. She seemed to like things non-plain, Ginevra was opposite and simple, loving everything simple, excluding picture styles. "Nice house."

Darren looked around and rolled his eyes, thinking she was being sarcastic. "Upstairs is better, i just got rid of all the furniture as it was cockroach infested.." he said, heaidng back to the library.

Ginevra didn't point out that she was being sarcastic, she thought he would have known she preferred simple things by now. Following him, she made a face. "Cockroaches?" she hated them, they were just so... creepy and crawly.

"Yes" Darren said grinning again. "I got rid of most of them.." He was purposefully scaring her, knowing she hated cokroaches, for that matter, so did he.

Hearing Darren say most, she looked at her feet automatically. "That's... nice." she muttered sarcastically.

Darren smirked as he picked up his book. "Delphina's upstairs, if you want to talk to her" he informed as he put his book in the apporpriate place. He still didn't understand her friendship with Delphina, but Gin was a weirdo after all.

"Nah, I came here to see you." she told him, though she had no clue why Delphina was there in the first place; she didn't know they were cousins, just knew they had the same last name.
