I can't watch series like HIMYM, TBBT etc. They're awful and boring.

No, I totally agree with that. I need a more drama/action based over-arching plot. Otherwise I can't sit through it.

I also can't deal with most of the popular chick flicks. I watched them with my parents, who made fun and talked the whole time so I hate them. And I'm referring to stuff like Pretty Woman, Notting Hill, Emma (the Austen one, of course), Breakfast At Tiffany's, etc. I do, on the other hand, really like Devil Wears Prada, because Meryl Streep is my spirit animal. I might could like them if I saw them again, but I super don't want to, so I don't get any of the references.

Imitation Game... Gave it a solid 8/10. Which is Oscar-nom worthy, on my scale. But there's just no way it was 10/10.

I hate Big Bang Theory.

The best reason I have heard to support me is the comparison of it to Arrested Development. "Arrested Development is a show about stupid people written by smart people. The Big Bang Theory is a show about smart people written by stupid people."

But my acting teacher went to school with Jim Parsons. That's fun.

Big Bang's problem is they think Sheldon is the main character, when Leonard is the main character.

Sheldon is interesting, but he's the antagonist. I don't know if the writers have caught on to that yet.

You do have to give Parsons props for portraying a character whose traits come and go when it's convenient for the plot because "I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested."

I firmly believe that Sara Ramirez is the best Broadway actress I've ever heard. Of our generation, even. Including recordings. If you haven't heard her in Spamalot, you haven't heard the epitome of vocal talent and flexibility.

Ginny was the least compelling choice for Harry's future wife for me. I liked her until she was suddenly gorgeous, funny, sporty, smart, and a troublemaker. JKR just sort of made her randomly perfect at the last second and I wasn't a big fan. I would have preferred shy awkward Ginny to just get braver and braver.

I didn't like her because she was dreadful to Hermione. I don't get the choice in fanfics to make Ginny and Hermione best friends. It just doesn't make sense. There was a moment in the sixth book that I was just like "omg, Ginny, back off," and I couldn't like her anymore. Aside from all of the sudden perfection thing. I feel like Ginny was just never fleshed out as she should have been. It's not even that I want to protect Hermione because of personal reasons. I didn't see why her being rude to Hermione was founded in anything about her past/personality/etc. It didn't make sense.
