Family doesn't end with the word end!

Things for Sophia were slowly starting to look up for her, of course she didn't have a boyfriend or engaged or anything those lines but she was slowly getting happy again. It been so long since Sophia knew the real reason behind happiness it was unreal, it just didn't exist to her. But seeing Ryo and Maura happy, she was starting to believe that there was some hope in the world. it was weird that her younger brother was teaching her things, usually it was the other way around but she didn't mind. Besides, he probably knew Sophia wasn't herself anymore, he knew her almost better than she knew herself.

As much as she tried to hide it and pretend she was ok, she knew that she wasn't ok deep down. She knew she haven't been like n in ages, but she was slowly starting to become somewhat happy again. As long as Ryo and Hitame were happy, she was happy if they were happy. That's one of the things she wanted the most for them to be happy, even if she wasn't. After they both went through, they deserve some happiness and joy in there lives.


Pushing the thoughts away from her mind, Sophia walked through the crowded street of Hogsmeade she headed towards The Three Broomsticks. The rain sticking to her as she walked, she entered the crowded pub before shaking her hair out like a dog does after being out in the rain. Her clothes sticking to her body Sophia gotten out her wand flicking it as her clothes appeared dried as well as her hair. " May I have a butterbeer please? " Sophia asked the bartender softly. As the bartender nodded and gotten her butterbeer Sophia gotten her money and set it on the counter as he set her butterbeer before her. " Thank you, keep the rest as a tip."Sophia muttered before heading towards her normal spot.

Taking her seat, her gray eyes looked around for anyone she knew to keep her company or talk to. Lately Sophia had alot of time on her hands, due to St. Mungo's not being that busy. She was sort of relieved due to it being busy lately, but she needed work to keep her busy. Burying herself in her work, was one of the things that made her happy. As weird as it was, Sophia loved what she did and the feeling of helping others was exciting to her.

But now everything calmed down, she had more time to herself, which wasn't something Sophia enjoyed. Sophia was always energetic and always on the go, she could never stay still. Although Sophia was glad to spend time with Maura and Ryo and her beautiful niece Ciara. She haven't seen them since Ciara's birth, hopefully she'll see them today. Looking out the window, Sophia watched the rain deep in thought and in her own world.

Maura been spending a lot of time in Hogsmeade lately , mainly in Honeydukes getting candy. Although she couldn't help it, Sophia said it'll be awhile until she goes back to her normal self. Although she wasn't craving weird things anymore to Ryo's pleasure, due to him being grossed out by some of her decisions on what to eat. Although her craving sweet and ice cream still haven't gone away, Calum and her friends wonder how she's so small and petite due to eating so much sweets. Ryo tried multiple times to eat normal healthy food, but every time she ate something she'll want something sweet afterwards.

But lately Maura been craving blood and sweet lately, sometimes at the same time, which was hard seeing how Ciara was half human. Sophia and Ryo kept her on a short leash, but she was getting better. Sophia and Ryo figured it was due to him not being a vampire in awhile, so she was feeling this way. But now after days of not having Ciara in her arms due to fear of attacking her, Maura was happily carrying her in her arms. Although she haven't seen Sophia since Ciara was born, she knew she was giving Ryo instructions on how to keep her calm.

Walking through the crowd street of Hogsmeade, Maura headed towards the Three Broomsticks to get her a nice butterbeer. " May I have a butterbeer please? " Maura asked the bartender as he nodded. Shifting Ciara to her hjp, she placed the money on the counter as the bartender set down her butterbeer. " Thank you, keep the rest as a tip! " said Maura softly. Looking for a place to sit, her chocolate brown eyes looked around for a place, before they settled on a familiar blond by the window.

Putting Ciara back in her stroller, Maura walked over towards Sophia smiling at her. " Hey Soph, mind if I join you?"Maura asked her softly. Looking at Sophia, she seen she was drenched in rain and she looked cold and bitter. As she seen Sophia nod she took a seat. Seeing Ciara smiling at Sophia she chuckled. " Yes it's Aunt Sophy, do you want her?"Maura asked Ciara softly as she Ciara kept looking at Sophia. " I think she wants you. " said Maura softly not she picked Ciara up and handed her to Sophia.

" Yup that's what she wanted, to see her auntie again!"said Maura chuckling softly. " So how you been Soph?"Maura asked her softly. It was sad to say, but Sophia looked like she been through hell and back. " You don't look so good, are you need you're ok?"Maura asked her softly but curiously. Her eyes turned gold with worry, there was something Sophia wasn't telling her or Ryo.

Things couldn't ever be easy in his life could they?

Of course they couldn't. He had so much work all the time, then he tended to come home to Maura with her blood cravings and Ciara being in danger because of it and he nearly cried half the time. For him to cry was rare, but it happened when there were so many thing on his plate. It sucked really bad, but he wouldn't change anything. He was scared sometimes that Maura would attack their daughter because she was half human, but he knew she wouldn't unless she had a really bad need for blood as he was always able to help before it got to that.

He had too many things to do but it was almost time for him to go home, his shift almost over, and he was going to have to take some of it home with him. He sometimes wondered what possessed him to agree to take Sam's work load as well since he had to either leave early or he couldn't go to work to take care of his nieces. Oh wait, he did know. It was his friendship with the other man. He wasn't going to let Sam be at work and constantly want to know how they and his sister were doing. He'd told him to go with them because if it was like that with him and Soph (or even Sayuri) he would be the exact same way.

Wen it was finally time for him to go, Ryo hurriedly stuffed his things into his briefcase and left the Ministry.  He wasn't sure what to do first, go home and take a shower and nap or go to Hogsmeade to meet up with Maura and Ciara. He really wanted to see his wife and daughter so he decided to do that. He could just do everything else later when he would be going to bed anyways. There was another thing that constantly bothered him as he thought about it.

Sophia. His sister wasn't the same as she used to be. There was something bothering her inside that she didn't tell him or Maura, otherwise he would know, but he knew it was there since they had a connection that bound them together. He thought it was funny, he and Sophia had such stronger bond than he and Sayuri did and they were actually fully blood siblings. Sophia was only his half sister, and their bond was really strong

As he appeared in Hogsmeade after apparating, he knew Maura and Ciara would be in the Three Broomsticks since it was a place Maura liked to go to besides Honeydukes. But something had told him that she was I. The pub rather than the candy shop. He walked in, the bell ringing above his head and he looked around for a moment before his wife and child's scents reached him and he knew where they were. Smiling, Ryo walked toward them.

His smile grew when he noticed his sister was there. "Hey Soph." He smiled at her before sitting next to Mayra and giving her a light kiss on the lips. "Hi love." He said softly. He glanced at Ciara who was in her aunt's arms and leaned over to smooth out her messy dirty blonde hair. "I guess that one thing he inherited from me." He said, referring to her hair.

At the sound of a familiar voice,  Sophia tore her eyes from the window before giving Maura a soft warm smile.  " Hey Mars, looking good you sure you even had Ciara?"Sophia asked her chuckling.   She looked great and Sophia noticed she was slowly starting to get back to her normal self again.   " Haven't had anymore blood cravings have you?"Sophia asked her softly.   Sophia been worried about her since Ryo told her she been craving blood,  she was worried about Ciara so she did everything to protect Ciara.

Although she was glad that she was better,  holding Ciara in her arms she smiled happily at  her.  " Hey Angel,  I haven't seen you since you were born. " said Sophia softly.   Sophia been  busy lately,  but now things had died some she could spend time with them.  Rocking Ciara in her arms she froze as Maura asked how she been if she was ok.  About to answer her,  she seen Ryo walking towards thrm.  

" Hey Ry,  I see you're happy about something what's up?"Sophia asked  him smiling.   She knew he been a bit stressed out lately and on a point to tears at times,  she honestly didn't blame him.   But now he looked and seemed to be back to his normal self.   Looking at Maura and Ryo she smiled.  " So... how is life treating you two? It has to be good,  Ryo is smirking like a idiot!"said Sophia honestly before laughing.  

Hearing Ryo's reply on Ciara she chuckled.  " Yeah,  but that's not the only thing she inherited from you,  she's also cranky when she's tired or woke up I just ever so wonder where she gets that from?"Sophia asked him before smirking at him.   "She does look a lot like you Ry, there's no denying she isn't yours,  but she has Maura's eyes and smile of course!"said Sophia softly.   Seeing Ciara reach her hands out to Ryo she chuckled.  " Ah... you want daddy huh?"said Sophia softly before handing her to him.    " You wouldn't believe how many comments you two get on how beautiful Ciara is. "said Sophia softly.  " You two made one beautiful baby girl. " said Sophia smiling at them.

Maura noticed that Sophia was avoiding the questions, like she didn't want to talk about it.  Chuckling Maura nodded.  " Oddly everyone else been asking me the same question,  but yes she's in your arms. " said Maura softly.  Maura shook her head.  " No and I hope I don't,  I hated being away from Ciara. " said Maura softly.   " I know I scared Ryo and you,  I honestly scared myself. " said Maura softly but honestly.   " I wouldn't live with myself myself if I attacked her. " said Maura softly.

" Oh hey  love. " said Maura softly kissing him back softly on the lips.   Chuckling at Sophia's remark she looked at Ryo and nodded.   " Sorry love,  but she's right about that!"said Maura softly before chuckling again.  After a few minutes giggling she calmed down.   " Alot people being saying that Soph, I know she has my eyes but as for smile I don't know. " said Maura honestly.   She honestly thought Ciara inherited more from Ryo then her.

Not really paying attention to Sophia's question until now,  she turned to Sophia and shook her head.  " What about you Soph? You been avoiding our questions, what's up with you Soph?"Maura asked her softly.  " Don't tell us nothing,  we know better!"said Maura sternly.   " You haven't been yourself in a while Soph. " said Maura honestly.  " I miss the old Soph who was bubbly and happy. " said Maura sadly.


" Don't cry Mars,  don't cry. " Maura muttered to herself softly as she felt tears in her trying to escape.  " Please Soph let us in, we love you and we hate seeing you like this. " said Maura softly.   Looking at her tears in her eyes,  it was clear that Maura was upset about all this.  She wanted things to go back to how they were,  but she knew that they never would.  But she knew she could make things go back to how they were some,  and that was enough for her.
