'Yeah definitely!' Cupid agreed, knowing it would take a lot of planning to go about promoting the party without any of the teachers knowing. That would be tricky, the teachers were up in everybody's business lately for some strange reason - or so Cupid thought so anyway. 'We could distribute flyers under the dormitory doors? I could do all the Slytherin's, you the Ravenclaw's then Kenneth could do Gryffindor then...' Then the Hufflepuff's. Who could do that? Cupid had the odd Hufflepuff acquaintance, he supposed they could try and pass on a message.
'The only problem is the boys can't go in the girls dormitories so I guess I'd just have to ask Nessa to post the female leaflets and Kenneth could ask a girl too?' Nessa was a fellow fifth year Slytherin. The two got on fairly well, plus Becca and Nessa held a healthy quidditch rivalry. Although on Becca's half not so healthy given she was overly-competitive, but off the pitch they got on great.
Cupid watched as the house elf bowed to Katie, who seemed slightly taken aback by it. Cupid wasn't. The Litherland's had their own house elf who, most of the time, kept out of sight but if they ever did come into contact the elf would bow and treat Cupid like a king. He had become so used to it seeing Katie slightly taken aback was rather surprising.
'I do, but I'm starting to fall asleep.' Cupid yawned through battered eyelids, now fighting them to stay open. 'You could show me during the week? I'm thinking we should have the party at the weekend to get the school all hyped up?' Perhaps the Slytherin was being optimistic by saying 'the school.' Chances are not a great number of people would attend, not as much as Cupid was envisioning, but some would go still the same.
'Anyway, I'm off to bed, see you in the morning.' Cupid announced, referring to their charms class that they shared the following morning. 'Goodnight.'
And with that Cupid rose from the seat, making sure to thank the house elves (for the first time since realising their worth thanks to Katie) and left the kitchen. Hopefully Blaise would have finished.
(OOC: Please can we do a party?!
