Time was almost up. Amelia had been enjoying a nice cup of tea with biscuits to dunk whilst she attended to her never-ending stack of homework to mark. Not that she had gotten much marking done, she'd been too busy having a pleasant chat with the astronomy teacher in the staffroom and had only marked four pieces before she noticed that half an hour had nearly passed. 'I best go to see them.' Amelia said, aware that the Professor would know exactly who 'them' was.

'I'm glad you see you're all sitting quietly.' Amelia greeted the talking students as she walked into the detention classroom. 'Now, Mr Diamond, what have you learnt today?' Professor Cooper asked him pleasantly. In all honesty she had thought that the use of 'giving lines' was rather old fashioned and if it were up to her she'd be having the group catching up on extra work, which seemed more productive - then again she had been a Ravenclaw.

Shane looked up as he heard footsteps walking down the corridor. "Great just great."Shane thought to himself sighing. It was bad enough he was in here for something he didn't do. Seeing Professor Cooper walking in his hazel eyes looked back up at her. "Yes ma'am, although I honestly didn't do anything."said Shane honestly.

It was true, Shane haven't done anything that deserved him this stupid detention. He didn't know who glued the Slytherins to their seats but it sure wasn't him. Although he knew Professor Cooper or the others wouldn't believe him no matter what he said or did. He knew he had a history of causing pranks, but this time Shane honestly didn't do it.
