I lost my mind, LITERALLY!

Shane groaned as the sunlight hit him right straight in the eyes letting him know it was time for him to wake up.  Opening his hazel eyes he looked around confused where he was at or how he gotten where he was at.  "Where am I?"Shane asked himself as a nurse came towards him making him jump on fright.  "Easy there Shane, you just woke up after a week of being knocked out."the nurse replied relieved to see Shane was awake.  "Oh... I don't remember anything, and my name is Shane?" Shane asked the nurse as her eyes widened in horror. "You don't remember who you are?"the nurse asked.  Shane shook his head.  "No I don't, I don't know who I am or where I even am."said Shane.

"Oh dear this isn't good, but I can't keep you here no longer seeing how your awake and I think maybe you might get your memory back if you go around the castle."said the nurse.  "Castle? I'm in a castle? sweet!" Shane said happily.  "Um... what did I have on?" Shane asked as the nurse headed him his Gryffindor robe and uniform.  "What the hell is this?"Shane asked looking at his Gryffindor robe.  "There your school robe."the nurse explained.   "Wow... it's a cloak awesome, and I'm lion!"said Shane looking at the Gryffindor crest with interest.  "Yes your in one of the greatest houses here at Hogwarts, your in the house of Gryffindor due to your bravery."the nurse explained.

As Shane looked from the his robe and around the Hospital Wing the nurse flicked her wand as a book came towards her.  "Here you go Shane, this is Hogwarts the History it'll explained everything about this so called castle as you call it."said the nurse as she handed him the book. "What a minute can you read?"the nurse asked as Shane shrugged.  "What's reading?"Shane asked confused as the nurse sighed and opened the book and flicked it putting a spell on it so the book read itself to Shane.  "Get dress Shane and I'll let you go, I think you exploring the castle will help you refresh your memory."said the nurse as Shane nodded.  As he put his clothes on he put his Gryffindor robe over it.

As Shane pushed back the curtain the nurse nodded.  "Here yo go Shane, Hogwarts the History and the map of Hogwarts."said the nurse handing him the stuff.  "Thanks."Shane said as he took the stuff.  Walking out of the Hospital Wing Shane headed downstairs like his feet knew where he was going oddly enough.  Walking downstairs towards the Entrance Hall he pushed opened the doors as the fall breeze hit his face.  Wondering down the sloping lawn he wondered around the place admiring the place like he was a first year again.  As people waved at him and welcomed him back Shane looked at them confused not knowing who they were.  

Finally reaching the lake, Shane looked at the lake not seeing any people around before he sat under his favorite tree he always sat under.  "Ugh... why don't I know who I am?"Shane thought to himself.  "I must know something,  I feel like the inside of me knows this place deep down.'Shane told himself.  "I lost myself, I don't know what I am!"Shane told himself as he felt something poking him from the inside pocket of his robe.  Reaching into it, Shane saw something long and wooden which appeared to be his wand.  "What the heck is this?"Shane asked himself as he examined it as sparks shot out of his wand making him jump.

"Wow... it's a wand, and it's must be my wand seeing how it was in my robe!"said Shane happily.  "What a minute then I must be a.... what's that word that people call people that can do magic?"Shane asked himself.   "Ok... lets see if I can do some spells here."Shane told himself as he pointed his wand at a rock.  "I don't know any spells, so I can't do magic!" Shane told himself  angrily as he jumped as a rock exploded beside him.  "What the?"Shane asked himself not knowing he did accidental magic.

Why did bad things always happen to her or the people she cared about?

She hated these things. She hated the people who caused them. She hated that she was a werewolf, that she had turned Shane into one, that Romeo had caused Maura to sprout warts and that he'd also caused Shane to lose his memory. She hated it all, right now though, she honestly hated Romeo more than anyone else in the world. He was lucky it wasn't a full moon yet, otherwise she would have already hunted him down and tore him into shreds. A low growl escaped her lips as she thought and Olivia suddenly froze in her tracks.

What was she thinking? She couldn't do that to someone, no matter how much she hated them. You're finally starting to think like a true wolf. You should be proud of yourself. The wolf chimed in as Olivia stood there in the middle of the path that led to the Great Lake. Why should I be proud? I'm thinking like a blood thirsty monster, there's nothing to be proud of. She retorted with anger clear in her statement. Don't forget though. You are a blood thirsty monster and you will never escape that. Olivia winced at the wolf's words. I... I am not! she clenched her hands into fists and hit the tree closest to her.

The wolf laughed and decided not to say anymore. Olivia wasn't a monster, she hated being what she was. She didn't like turning or killing people. She hated what had happened with Shane on the full moon. Hot tears began to blur her vision and she quickly wiped them away as a gush of cool wind blew past her, blowing her hair back as she continued to walk. She wasn't a monster. She was anything but a monster. No matter how many times she told herself that, the seed of doubt was not implanted in her mind and she wasn't sure what she was anymore.

As she reached the lake, Liv was startled by the sound of an explosion close by. The girl walked closer to where the sound had emerged from and she found Shane with his wand out. He was out of the Hospital Wing? A rush of joy ran through her and she raced down toward. Olivia subconsciously threw her arms around him, embracing him for a moment before noticing that something was off. She quickly let go of him and took a step back. "Shane?" She said a little timidly, remembering what had happened in the Hospital Wing for the split second he had woken up.

Shane jumped alittle as the girl embraced him as if she knew him or he was her boyfriend or something. "Um... Hello, do I know you?"Shane asked her softly but curiously. When she called his name Shane hazel eyes looked into hers. "I think that' s my name, the nurse or whatever said it was but yeah?"Shane asked her softly. "If your going to ask if I know or remember you, I don't which I don't see how I can forget someone as beautiful as you."said Shane. As a angry growl escaped him Shane ran his hands through his hair.

There was feeling inside Shane that was telling him he knew her from somewhere but he couldn't remember where. Cursing to himself due to not knowing he felt something else in the inside pocket of his robe. Reaching into it, he took out a small leather book with what seemed to be his first and last name. "What's this?"Shane asked as he opened the songbook that belonged to him. Looking at the book he seen that they were all songs. "I must of wrote these."said Shane looking at a song that was bookmarked.

Seeing a snall note above the song, Shane looked at it and read it. "For Olivia."Shane read softly to himself. As he said that, flash backs started appering in his head. The time he met Olivia at the Leaky Cauldron and then
There ride together on the train. As the flashbacks faded from his mind as quickly as they came Shane looked at Olivia. "Olivia?"Shane asked her softly holding his head after his flashbacks his head started hurting.

Olivia looked down as Shane said he didn't remember who she was. "I figured you wouldn't remember.." She said softly. It saddened het a bit to know that he didn't remember her or anything else, but it also gave her hope that he might not remember what he was, what she'd turned him into. Olivia looked back up at him, a hopeful glint clear in her eyes as she was about to ask him if he remembered what he was. But then she decided to not say anything, maybe it wouldn't be good for him to remember just yet. He had more important things he needed to remember first.

She would just find a way to tell him later, she decided. As he reached into his pocket and pulled out the songbook he always carried with him, Olivia smiled. Maybe that would bring some of his memories back. "You did." She told him softly when he said he must've been the one who wrote the songs that the book contained. "You wrote them for the band you have with your best friends, Jaybee, Carson and Kenneth." She explained softly. Maybe the three of them needed to be there to help him remember things. Maura needed to be there too, she knew him better than Olivia did along with his friends. Te only thing she knew that they didn't was that he was a Werewolf.

She peeked onto the page he seemed to be reading from and smiled when she saw the words, "For Olivia." marked on the page. He'd never found out that she'd read his book during the time he'd fallen asleep on the train. When he said her name, Olivia nodded with a smile. "Yeah, that's my name.." She responded. Maybe if the book had helped him remember her name, there were other things his friends had that would help him recover other memories.

Shane seen Olivia smile as he remembered her name. "I don't know how I remember it though, once I read the song that I written it just came back to me like flashbacks."said Shane.  "Wait a minute, your not shock to see your name written on here, why is that?"Shane asked her curiously.  "You didn't happen to see this or be there when I wrote it were you?"Shane asked her softly.  "I guess this ruin the surprise, seeing how I wrote a note to myself here that it was suppose to be a secret song for you."said Shane.

"I think I need my friends with me in order to remember who I am, I think if maybe I see them I'll remember."said Shane softly.  "I just want to remember things again, it's not fun walking around empty headed."said Shane letting out a low angry growl.  "Why do I always do that when I'm angry? I must be part dog or something!"said Shane noticing that every time he was angry or annoyed he let out a growl like a wolf.  "Olivia what's wrong with me, why am I like this?"Shane asked her sighing.

Looking at his wand in his hand he try to think of any spells he knew that would prove he was a wizard but he couldn't think of any at the top of his head.  "Ugh... this stinks, I don't know who or what I am and I'm walking clueless around a castle that I appear to been in for years but here I am walking around like a lost puppy!"said Shane angrily.  Seeing a girl with curly brown hair walking towards them in a Hufflepuff robe Shane must of sworn he knows her from somewhere.  "I know I know her from somewhere, I just can't remember where!"Shane told himself.  As the Hufflepuff girl hugged him Shane hugged her back seeing how he felt he knew this girl since forever. "So... who are you, and why do I feel like I known you since forever?"Shane asked her softly.

Maura was bored out of her mind, she needed something to do seeing how she already did her homework. Maura was going to go the Hospital Wing to see Shane, but every time she did it was always the same thing. Deciding to take a break from seeing Shane for a day, Maura grabbed her Hufflepuff robe before heading out. Maura needed some time outside, she was starting to become a prisoner in the castle. Walking out the Hufflepuff common room, she walked into the Entrance Hall towards the double doors that lead outside.

Pushing open the doors the cool fall breeze hit her face making her smile before she fastned her cloak before heading further out. Walking down the sloping lawn of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardly Maura headed towards the lake. She was hoping to see some of her friends down here so she'll have someone to talk to. Little did she know she'll have more then that waiting for her by the lake. As she reached the lake she stopped dead in er tracks as she seen Oliva with was that Shane? awake?

Maura couldn't beleive it, she never been so happy to see one of her best friends in her life. Running up towards him she hugged him not caring if he knew who she was or not. "Shane, your awake thank goodeness!"said Maura happily. As he hugged her back Maura smiled before she chuckled at his question. "We been best friends since muggle pre-k, we aslo live a block from each other that's probably why you feel you known me forever because you basically have!"said Maura chuckling. "Hey Liv, does he know who you are?"Maura asked her softly.

Olivia laughed sheepishly, rubbing her head gently when Shane asked why she wasn't surprised to see her name in his song book. "To be honest, I might have seen it while we were on the train to make it here." she explained softly. Olivia didn't really want to tell him that she had seen it purposely because she'd gotten curious as to why he was so secretive with the book. Maybe she should have just left it though, since it was obviously something that was really important to him.

When he asked what was wrong with him because he growled when he was angry, she stiffened and hesitated. What was she supposed to tell him? The truth was probably a good start, but maybe she should leave herself out of it. He would find out that he was like that because of her eventually though. That was something that scared her a lot though, she didn't want him to resent her for turning him into the creature he was now.

"I... You're like that because..." She stopped talking when Maura came over to them and she looked down at her feet for a second. Olivia looked at Maura and nodded slightly. "Sort of, I guess. He doesn't know much about me, and he only remembered my name because of his song book." she told the older girl softly.

Shane looked at Olivia for a minute and gave her a confused look of why she was looking down at her feet. He wondered what she was going to tell him before Maura came along. Shane looked at Maura and nodded. "That's why I feel like I known you forever, but I still don't remember any of that."said Shane sighing. "I don't even know who or what I am which is pathetic!"said Shane honestly.

"When I get my memory back, I'm going to find out who or what did this to me!"said Shane angrily. Letting out a low angry growl Shane took a flat rock and skipped it across the lake. "I need my other friends here, it's nice to have you two here but I still can't remember anything!"said Shane. "So... I know Maura told me that were best friends, but what are we Olivia?"Shane asked her softly. Little did he know, he honestly didn't know that even when he had his memory other then they were good friends.

Olivia stiffened again at Shane's question. What were they? She honestly didn't know what they were herself. How was she supposed to know? Especially now. A lump formed in her throat that she couldn't swallow and she couldn't form any words to tell him. She had no idea what they were. She suddenly began to panic and she looked at Maura quickly before lowering her gaze.

"We... We're friends." she was finally able to say. "We're really good friends." she added softly. That wasn't exactly what she'd been hoping to tell him, but that was as close to the truth as she though she would ever get. Olivia didn't think that would ever become anything more and this thought was stronger now that he'd lost his memory. Maybe they were just supposed to be friends?

Olivia sighed and tried to calm herself down before she ended up saying something else that she shouldn't say.

Shane nodded. "Oh ok, that's what I thought we were."Shane said honestly. Looking down at his songbook, he wondered why he wrote a song about her then. "Ugh... there has to be some reason why I wrote this song about her!"Shane thought to himself. "If were just friends, then this song has to be written about someone else!"Shane thought to himself. "Oh well, no matter."said Shane softly as he look at the page and ripped it out of his songbook and crumbled it up.

"Maura can you burn this one for me please? I honestly don't know who I wrote it for but it doesn't matter now."said Shane honestly. Little did he knew that he remembered every song he wrote in his songbook by heart. It was only a matter of time before he remembered the song. Closing his songbook he placed it back into his inside pocket of his robe. Seeing Maura looked at him confused Shane nodded before he seen Maura burn the parchment.

Although after Maura burned it, there was something that wished that he didn't burn it. Shaking the feeling off, Shane nodded to himself knowing that it was all over and done with. No more writing songs about Olivia, they were just friends nothing more. Although there was a feeling inside of him that was telling him there was more but he ignored the feeling.
