Maria stands at a height of 5"6. Her brown hair is naturally curly, wavy, and smells nicely of strawberries thanks to her favorite shampoo. She has chocolate brown eyes, typically wearing mascara and eyeliner to bring her eyes out more. Along with usually a red or pink lipstick as well. Her body is fairly curvy and she is neither fat or skinny just well in between. She is sometimes a girly girl or a tomboy depending on the day usually depends on what she wears. Some days she wears skirts and blouses with heels or flats and other days she will be seen wearing fitting jeans with a plain tee shirt and sneakers.

Maria is very determined when she sets her heart to it which is nearly ninety percent of the time and also is very independent since her dad died from cancer. She has her mom but she still prefers to do everything herself.

CHARACTER HISTORY

Early Years:
Maria had a fairly normal childhood, it was like any other typical wizarding family. She learned how to ride a broom, and hated it which is where she found out she was afraid of heights. She grew up surrounded by books on everything you could image. She just loved to spend time reading in her family's sitting room next to a blazing fire with a cup of tea. When she got her acceptance letter to Hogwarts, she immediately started studying for her first year there. She was a very talkative and active child which had continued on through her first year at Hogwarts.
Hogwarts Years:
During her second year at Hogwarts, while studying as normal, Maria found out that her father had gotten cancer and it was unlikely that he would survive. She was completely distraught but knew her father wouldn't like it if she stopped studying and continuing her classes over him so she had stayed at Hogwarts instead of rushing home like she had wanted to. Her mother was just as bad off as Maria was when it came to finding out. When Maria went back for Christmas break during her third year of Hogwarts, her father passed away, right on Christmas day as well. It completely broke her that day but she made a promise to herself for her father to not let it ruin her studies but she stopped talking as much and become shy and stubborn. Her mother went into a mourning session that made Maria look at the situation and decided she had to be independent from then on. She managed through the next couple years of Hogwarts without anything exciting happening besides that her mother finally decided to stopped mourning so heavily during the end of Maria's sixth year. Now Maria is back for her seventh year, with her mother finally giving her some kind of acknowledgement.
