Today was admittedly, just not Audrey Montague's day.
The morning started out by her waking up terribly late, leaving Audrey with no time to get ready, or even stop in the Great Hall for the burst of caffeine that only coffee could adequately provide, leaving her irritable and in a down right sour mood. Even so, she stumbled through all of her classes groggily, and waited for the moment she could slow down and get her thoughts straight.
After attending her classes, and foggily completing the majority of her homework, she decided to sit in the courtyard for a while, to write letters to family back home. Moments after Audrey had sat down, a snowy owl, her own, named Ever, came with a batch of letters straight from Paris where her family was staying and waiting for her to be on holiday away from school. Her mother's were full of the drama springing from the Social Season for Purebloods, and all the suitors she'd approve on and so on. She went on to describe her utter disappointment in Audrey, in not having already found a proper fiance, ect. The young witch took a few long breaths, and decided to surrender to her room and try her luck out tomorrow. She threw her books and her favorite pen into her bag and tossed her hair out of her eyes in exasperation.
As the teenage witch gathered her things, and was retreating away from the courtyard, she ran into a younger girl, with a giant smile on her face, knocking them both back a few feet. Audrey quickly regained her footing and blushed. "Oh, my goodness. I'm so sorry, love." she said slowly, trying to recognize the little girl.
