Kyria had been experiencing one of her old occasional lazy days; days in which she didn't feel like attending classes, well maybe just a few classes she didn't feel like attending. She was a very well-versed girl in magic, doing a bit of self-study mostly because of how fascinated she had become of magic since she first heard of it. Of course it would be alright to attend classes to learn a bit more about what she may already know from self-exploration, but her main reason for not attending class was simply because she didn't feel like it.
Kyria didn't quite enjoy History of magic as much as she enjoyed potions, but being one of her first classes of the day, it was still quite a tedious class, making sure she followed instructions precisely to avoid the bombing of the classroom. After that she had become quite lazy after spending much energy making potions. Still she had the energy at least to escape and wander around. Just because she felt lazy didn't mean she wasn't up for an adventure or two. She was always up for those because it kept her boredom at bay and never lacked excitement, much like some of her classes did after her practice had settled in. Or in this case, she was sure she'd be bored to death from history notes.
Kyria felt quite accomplished that she had managed to escape her teacher all the way to the third floor. She made it two floors up but kept running, sure that Professor Binns probably sent someone, a prefect or perhaps a sub or just a teacher on free time, to come after her. That's if he assumed she was skipping, although as a an ancient experienced ghost he probably knew what with other students most likely skipping his class throughout the years. At this point Kyria decided she should find a place to hide out til classes ended. She stopped and looked around, slightly out of breath. The only place really where she could hide was that statue of a hunchbacked witch, whose name escaped her. If anyone were searching for her, that would be an easy find.
Kyria decided to keep walking but to be on the lookout for prefects and teachers checking the hall. She decided at the next corner she would hide there and scope the surrounding area. Kyria quickened her pace, adrenaline rising as she became more expectant of someone following her, causing her to tilt her head as she grew cautious. She swiftly turned the corner and-
"OW!" Kyria staggered back after ramming head on right into someone going her direction. Whoever it was, she accidentally bumped head and their shoulders hit. Kyria held her head and rubbed it, squinting her eyes in pain since it hurt more than her arm. "My god! I'm so sorry," Kyria apologized.
