And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Marriage is Murder - Page 75 Empty Re: Marriage is Murder

Post by Jessie Tyler Fri Aug 16, 2013 12:15 am

Jess listened and nodded taking out a small note book she wrote a note and sent it via the floo.“ of course, I'll go with them.“ she said and headed back down to let Michael know to pack. “ Michael, Robert need us to pack for Khaat and Brian he's sending them back to St. Mungo's he feels they came back too early.” she said as she then moved back up the Khaat's room and started to pack a bag for her while she assumed Michael or Belby would pack for Brian. Once she was done she placed the bag by the door and walked back to Robert. “ its done, ready when you are.” she said folding her arms across her chest waiting for his instructions for when they got to the hospital.

“Any special instructions when we arrive, separate rooms is a no brainer, but do you want muggle strait jackets on stand by as well?” she said looking down at them both she was some what annoyed at the pair of them herself but she knew it was the trauma and they could not help themselves in any way. “ I sent ahead for two rooms to be made ready Robert, in the quietest part of the hospital.” she added noting Roberts remark about letting them regroup and took it to mean their thoughts.

"You misunderstand me," Robert frowned at Jess. "I'm not sending either of them back. I merely said I had perhaps discharged them a day too soon. Khaat has asked to leave, not Brian. There's no reason to send him anywhere against his will. I've already packed for Khaat, but I appreciate your enthusiasm. Brian will remain here. He has more medical needs than Khaat does, so he will remain here at home.

In the meantime, Michael had gotten the message and had gone upstairs and had gone to pack. He wasn't sure why Robert would send either of them back because they got angry. It didn't make sense.

"Straightjackets won't be necessary," Robert said. "Nor will the rooms..."

"What's happened?" Michael asked, coming in, his bag on his shoulder.

"Do escort Khaat and Belby to the farm, please," Robert said. "I presume you can help Belby take care of her."

"Without question," Michael said. Belby came back in with his bag as Michael picked up Khaat's.

"This isn't necessary!" Brian said. "When will you lot stop meddling in my marriage!" He was getting highly offended with other people rendering opinions about what was best for him and for Khaat.

"Tomorrow," Robert said soothingly. "This is still, at least in part, a medical issue today. Tomorrow you two can argue all you like. Just give me a few hours. Okay?"

Jess sighed and nodded she sent another note and nodded "of course, I'll go with Khaat and Belby to the farm " she said looking at him she would go with her, Jess felt that if it was medical she would be happier going and keeping an eye on her even with her limited healer ability she might be ble to keep her comfortable while she healed.

Jess moved to her room packing a small bag then returning with it over her shoulder. " Jack could come with us too to help with the farm work" she looked over at Robert. " you'll still have Steven, Cassidy and Jim here with the kids" she placed down her bag and waitied for his reply for she was not going to take no for an awnser.

"That's fine, Jess," Robert said. Khaat was tempted to tell them all that she didn't need anybody, but she glanced at Marcus who merely looked at her. His face was utterly stone flat, except his eyes, and because her father was so used to communicating with just his eyes, she understood Marcus right away. She sighed, allowing it--for now.

Marcus knew she was hurt and angry, and he didn't really blame her much. Brian's remark had been ill spoken, and Marcus believed Brian hadn't meant it in the way it had come out. Still, he didn't blame her for being irked with him.

"Where exactly are we going?" Marcus asked.

"Robert's farm," Michael said. "Where Khaat and Brian grew up. Its only a very short distance from here, even if you were a muggle."

"Well, its probably good that some of you are going with us, since I don't know the way and Khaat's magic probably won't get us there."

"You might get there, but we'd probably be able to put you both in the same envelope at the other end," Robert said.

Jess nodded to Marcus and to Roberts words she would not smother Khaat but would be there should they need her. Jack walked up behind Jess and sighed nodding. “ We'll take you Marcus, don't worry, you won't get lost.“ he added chuckling softly as he moved to pick up Khaat's “So when we going?” he asked. Jess hoped it would be not long seeing how Khaat was reacting to the idea of the others helping her to get to the farm. Jess moved and brought her bag into the room on her back.

“ I'm ready to go now, but when you say Robert.” she added watching both Belby and Khaat together

"Let's just go," Belby said. "I think the longer we prolong this, the tougher it will be for everyone."

"Agreed," Robert said. Marcus simply picked Khaat up, and Brian said nothing but Khaat saw clearly that he was more than a little angry. "Just go," Robert said softly to them.

When they got to the farm, Marcus looked around, trying to get his bearings.

"That way," Michael pointed Marcus down the hallway to the right. "The door at the end of the hall. Those are her rooms. Right, then. I'll make some tea and some coffee and check the..." He opened the refrigerator,"....empty refrigerator. Hm. I forgot they haven't been living here for awhile. One of us will have to go to the village and get some of the bare essentials, unless we plan on just eating out of cans and out of the freezer."

Jack took Jess's hand and ported her and them to the farm he looked at Jess and watched as she walked to Khaat's room and unpacked. Hearing Michael he nodded “ I'll go. “ he said and picked up a bag from off the hook.“ Okay, give me a list or is it everything we need.” he asked seeing the empty fridge in front of him. “Okay I shouldn't be too long” he said and headed out the door and down to the village to find a local market stall which he found and smiled seeing fresh fruit and veg. Jack explained and the farmer was happy to send his wears to the far, next he found a fish monger buying several different fish he place them in the bag and headed back up catching up to the veg man he escorted him to the front door. “ OKAY FOODS HERE!! “ he called out as he paid the man taking the best of his crop then paced it in the fridge along with some bottles of milk and cheese the man brought.

"Thank you, Jack," Michael said.

"Where would you like to sit?" Marcus asked Khaat.

"Out of the way?" she asked. Marcus looked and saw the small brick courtyard off her rooms that had just a couple chaises there and a small bistro table with a pair of chairs, all well manicured and lined with flowerbeds.

"Alright," he said, kicking the door open. "Sun would do you good." He took her outside and put her on the chaise. "Can you stay in one place for five minutes?"

"I'm fine, Marcus," she said softly. Marcus went back in where Jess was unpacking and readying the room.

This wasn't her fault, you know," Marcus said. "He seems to have a particularly short fuse right now, and he was uncommonly rude to her. I didn't think he got that way with her."

Jess looked up at Marcus as she put away a dress of Khaat's “ he's not normally as Robert said he's still getting over the trauma.” she said and smiled at him “ Usually he's much nicer to her but I still think he's getting over that, or I hope he is there so in love it would hurt every one if they broke up” Jess stopped and sighed “ no they won't, it won't happen.” She looked up at Marcus worry in her eyes as she looked at him. She heard Jacks call and smiled “ okay that means food won't be long in coming.” She said hanging the last of Khaat's clothes in the wardrobe. Jess looked around for Khaat “ Khaat outside?” she asked spotting her sat in the courtyard in the sun.

"I'm hoping we're not eating that soon.  We just finished lunch a few minutes ago.  Or did you not get a chance to eat?" Marcus asked.  "I thought the ratatouille was very good, really.  And, yeah, she's outside.  Some fresh air in a positive space would do her good.  Should I presume that Robert will be over at some point? Is it safe to assume that he might be wanting to unwind this before she gets serious about moving out?"

In the kitchen, Michael made a pot of tea and a pot of coffee and put some bottles of soda in the fridge to cool. He looked over what Jack and bought and saw plenty of possibilities for dinner that night.  He decided to start on some sort of dessert first while he had several hours yet before the evening meal would happen.
