New horizons

Ciara sighed and placed her quill down beside her finished History of Magic essay. She put her head on her hands and looked down at her essay, reading it over. She wrinkled her nose and threw her head back, looking up at the ceiling. "Not my best work..." she grabbed a strand of her blonde hair and twirled it in her fingers. She tried to think of other things to write about on the topic for her essay but she couldn't find much to write about.

"Maybe a different book will help me..." she said softly and stood up from where she was seated, her long blonde hair falling down her back smoothly. She walked down one of the isles and looked up at the shelf where she though a good book on her topic would be. She took out a few books and quickly skimmed over them, "These will work... I think." she whispered and started walking back to her seat. The books were rather big for her though and she stumbled, trying to keep her balance so she wouldn't fall.

It worked for a bit until she bumped into one and a couple slipped out of her grip and fell onto the floor. "Oh, sorry... I didn't mean to bump into you..." she apologized softly.

Quelyn skipped into the library wearing one of her new dresses that nick had bought her. When a she and a stack of books collided. "S-sorry," She stuttered and helped the girl pick up the books. the young Ravenclaw was starting to come out of her shell a little more as she interacted with Nick and Cecilia outside of school. "A-are you okay?" She asked the girl she had bumped into looking at her with her big brown eyes. She looked to make sure she wasn't visibly hurt. They both seemed okay so she backed away a little bit not wanting to be in the girls personal space.

Ciara smiled at the other girl and nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry about it." Ciara was a very easy-going girl. Sure, she would fight back in needed, but when it was just an accident, she didn't act nasty toward the person who she'd had the accident with. She sighed and said, "Thanks." After all her books were picked up. "Hey, you're Quelyn right?" she asked. "You're a Ravenclaw too right, and a First year?" she knew the Ravenclaw and first year parts because she'd seen her in the Ravenclaw tower, and she had seen her at the sorting ceremony being sorted at the beginning of the year.
