Allen heard several footsteps moments ago of someone running through, almost frantically. He had never bothered to look up, seeing as how he was enticed in his read. He continued to look through the pages, and felt like a little kid in a candy store when they showed an illustration or two. Miraculously, the illustrations were nearly spot on, the picture of the dragon catching his eye the most. How was is that humans had ever managed to see such things, but not see them as a general exsistance? It really baffled him, yet he would try not to think about it, seeing as how even in the wizarding world, there were two secrets. Ones to be kept, and ones to be kept hidden.
Allen heard the footsteps again, wondering now who it was. He moved the top skim of the book and looked to see who the person was, most of his bangs were in the way however, so he really couldn't tell. He swiped them from his eyes with his left hand in a quick motion and finally saw who it was. It was a girl, who looked slightly older than him. She was either 16 or 17, perhaps even 15. Her look told Allen that she was thinking heavily, something he did whenever something tragic happened. "Excuse me," he said in a soft voice to prevent from startling her "but are you alright?"
