Wondering about things.

Lance had held a little closer to himself, loving her warmth by him. Could they be more in the future, they had went on a few dates. But what would he really do with her, he wanted to stay by her side. Try to make her more comfortable, and keep her away from that very horrible graphic and bloody death.

To say the least, it scared him that she would think of that. He didn't want to hear about that and how it could happen to her. He just brushed a hand through her hair, and tried to think of how to get her mind off of it. He just stayed very quiet about it for a long moment of time.

Deciding now a more direct action, he brought his lips lower to her own. Kissing her softly at first, because this was there first kiss after all. After a few seconds, he pulled away from her and looked at her with a smile. " Feel better now? "

Amelia liked it when Lance ran a hand through her hair. She could see how he had been trying. She was a bit scared when he didn’t say a thing. She thought she had scared him away. It was a few moments that felt like a lifetime.

She was completely shocked when he felt his lips meet hers. She was pleasantly surprised though. She had been waiting for that for so long. It was so sweet. It wasn’t like the other kisses she had.

“I’ve been waiting for you to do that,” she said with a bright smile. She looked at him with pure admiration. She liked him more then she had ever for Chad and even possibly more deeply then Alex. She and Alex had a very strong friendship, besides her family it was the deepest friendship she had that was the most stable. But she was sure Lance would be too but he was at a different level the Alex.

He softly brought her closer to him, feeling her heat against his body. Relaxing now, she didn't say anything to him at all. she didn't like the kiss at all? He almost dropped his grip, when he heard her say that she was waiting for him to do that. Now he was both relieved and confused with her words.

" you wanted me to kiss you? " He asked wanting to hear her answer, he chuckled abit waiting for her response. Would she try to skip around it, Answer him, or just throw it off like nothing? And here he was thinking about it, instead of focusing on her. Sometimes being a ravenclaw was such a hassle and all. " so you really do like me? "

“Of course silly, I do really like you,” said Amelia. She wouldn’t say that she loved him because love was a strong word she wasn’t sure she was ready to say. She as certain she never wanted to be without him. It kills her to think about it. She wonders if this is what love feels like. Can a fifth year and a sixth year really be in love? There she was again thinking too much.

“I don’t always know what to say when it comes to this stuff. I just try to hint around and home that you would get the message. Sometimes I’m not even sure I’d get my own hints,” Amelia said. She didn’t know how to tell him how much she cared about him. Call it a downfall of being a Hufflepuff, too modest to do anything and too sensitive to other’s feelings to say anything.

Lance picked her off her feet and twirled her around. Then placed her back on her feet with a happy grin plastered on his face. He was so relieved that she liked him, but now what would become of them. They both wanted each other, so would he need to do more for her.

Then he remembered his father's words, that to find the women of your dreams. You needed to always be truthful, and not try to hard to impress a women. He was rather confused with his words, but Amelia was someone that he wanted and not screw up. " So will I have to meet your father to ask to go out with you? "

Amelia giggled as lance twirled her around. She couldn’t believe how happy he was. She had felt anything so true from a guy; he seemed so honestly to like her. She was so happy, she felt like she walking on air.

“I don’t you’ll have to. He already knows what you did when Andrei said those things. He’s impressed enough as it is but you could always send him an owl,” said Amelia “don’t let him scare you he’s just a bit….um he’s own breed.” She didn’t want to speak poorly of her own father but he was a bit of an arse. She couldn’t say that. He’s still her dad.

Lance heard that she had told her father about him. That he saved her from that Slytherin bastard but he hoped it was good. Because he really did like her, he didn't want her father to be pissed with him. He hoped that he was okay with him but it was really getting late now.

" We should get going. You want me to walk you back to your Dorm " He said to her with a smile. He was relieved that he could owl her father but he would rather meet him in the future. But now, at least he could be with her.

“That sounds good,” said Amelia. She didn’t care where she was as long as she was with him. She wondered what her parents would think of Lance. She bet they’ll love him, even if they didn’t it wouldn’t matter she wouldn’t stop seeing him.

She yawned slightly but tried to cover it up. Studying was hard. She hugged Lance without any warning. She was still just so happy, she couldn’t contain it. Despite the yawning she had no idea she was even tired she was so energized with joy. It was energy fuel. She knew she would still be out like a light once she got into bed.

He chuckled at her, as she tried to cover a yawn. " Your really cute you know " He started to walk with her, ready to take her back to her dorm. And then they could come back to another date. He wanted to get to know her and see where they could go from here.

Lance was surprised, when she hugged him once more. He was a little stunned, but it seems that she was really happy because of him? He was a little unsure of himself, he liked her and didn't want to mess up his chances. So he did something unexpected and swept her off her feet. Carrying her in his arms as he smiled down at her, as he started to walk towards the Hufflepuff Dorms.

Amelia yet out a giggle when Lance picked her up. She was a bit surprise but what’s life without surprises. Probably the only person to do that was her father. “Are you sure you want me to carry the whole way, it’s a long ways away and I’m not that light,” said Amelia. She didn’t want to be dropped or for Lance to trip or something. It was sweet but she didn’t want either of them to get hurt trying to do it, which could happen.

She was starting to think she should tell Alice about Lance. This seemed to be something that is going to stick around. She scolded herself for thinking about Alice, she was with Lance at the moment.
