Then Katrina starts going after one of Jack's allies, the one that sort of gave her hope. It would add more personal conflict for Albus, and give our girls an objective.

Katrina: I think sort-of mentor-ish would be better. You know, to teach him the ropes. Of course, Albus isn't going to fall that easily. And maybe, Kat could flirt once in a while and make Albus highly uncomfortable *evil grin* (You know, I really shouldn't enjoy torturing my own character so much....)

Conflict, conflict, sweet conflict. Though I must say, I picture Albus to be more of a Grey Wizard. Highly tempted towards the Dark Arts, but I don't think he'd ever truly leave the Light. Even it represents the Order of the Hippies. But you never know....

Alright, Mentor-ish it is then, perfect. Kat-Car would definitely have fun flirting once in a while, I can so se her as the "oh, it's so amusing watching him have no idea what to do when I say such things" type. Grey Albus makes sense, but that doesn't mean Kat-Car won't try.

Oh, quick warning, she may seem a bit cold, especially at first, don't be scared off! She does have a heart, it's just disguised by a layer of Mind Arts, Dark Magic, and general distain at the world.

Yay! Threading! So, how shall we start this? They could meet basically anywhere, the only thing I can come up with is a café/restaurant where the two could just blend in. I figured Kat-Car could approach Albus to check him out, or Albus could come to her if there were no other places to sit. Feel free to come up with something better. It's also up to you if Albus knows Kat-Car's name or not (she was a rather infamous assassin in certain European countries for a time).
