Shopping for the upcoming year!

It was that time of year again, which made Shane groan at the thought of it seeing how he hated shopping for his school stuff. Not that he hated seeing his friends and Diagon Alley again, he just hated standing in long lines and the crowded stores. But here he was with his seventh year school list buying things from books to quills. Although he wasn't alone, he was with Kenneth and Katie who needed there school supplies for the upcoming year. "Ok... where should we hit first?"Shane asked as he seen Flourish and Blotts that wasn't to far from them. "I say we go the Floursih and Blotts and then we'll go from there."said Shane as Kenneth and Katie nodded.

Walking through the crowded street of Diagon Alley they headed towards Flourish and Blotts bookstore to get there school books. After a few minutes of squeezing through the crowd they made it into the crowded bookstore which made Shane sigh. "Great more crowd!"said Shane rolling his eyes annoyed. "Can there be a place that isn't crowded for once?"Shane asked as his hazel eyes looked at the line of people checking out. Seeing a familiar girl with curly brown hair Shane called out to her. "Maura! " before pushing away of couple of people to head towards her.

"Thank goodness we found you, and by the looks of it you already have your books, can you help us find our please?"Shane asked her softly. He didn't want to be in this crowded place anymore then he had to, and with Maura here she could help them find there books and get out of here. As Maura nodded she lead them towards the Standard book of Spells section of the store. Grabbing a Standard book of Spells grade seven he seen Kenneth grab one for him and then a 5th year copy for Katie who was now a fifth year.

Seeing them all get a copy Maura nodded in approval at them. "Ok... next stop the Potion section!"said Maura softly. Leading them away from the crowd towards the potion section Maura picked a book they needed and handed it to Shane. "You need that one and this one."said Maura softly handing him to book before she seen him give them to Kenneth. "So.. I'll get three copies of each one, because Katie needs it to!"said Maura softly.

Seeing and hearing Shane groan Maura chuckled and shook her head. "We only have a couple more books to get and we'll be good to go!"said Maura softly. Maura was tired of doing this as well, but she wanted to help Shane and them so they could shop together at the next store. "Next shop is to get our robes!"said Maura softly.

Kasumi was looking for books since it was that time of year again. She was thinking to herself and wondering what this year was going to be like. Last year wasn't the best with all the stress she had but she knew this year would be better. She was thinking about how she didn't talk to any of her old hufflepuff friends and that she missed them. Just then she saw Maura with a couple other people and ran over to her making sure she wouldn't trip. "Maura! Hey!" She walked over to her and saw the other people up close. "Hi! I'm Kasumi Takahashi!" She smiled and turned her attention back to Maura. She showed Maura the books she had and talked about everything that has happened and tried to catch up on her life. She talked to Maura and joined them to get supplies for that time of the year.

Shane smiled. "Thanks Mars, your a life saver!"said Shane honestly. Looking at the new girl Shane chuckled and smiled. "I think I heard alot about you from Jaybee and Maura, they talk about you alot!"said Shane honestly. "But pleasure to finally meet you, I'm Shane, Shane Diamond."said Shane giving her a soft warm smile. "Were about to go to get our robes Kasumi, want to come with us?"Shane asked her softly.

Shane was glad to get out of this shop, it was so packed and busy it was unreal. "Hey Mars, have you happen to see Jaybee or Carson anywhere?"Shane asked her looking around for them. It wasn't like them to not be here, the four of them always shopped together for the upcoming year.

Seeing Kasumi heading towards her she smiled. "Kas! hey!"Maura as she hugged one of her best friends. "I have so much to tell you, I don't know where to begin!"said Maura chuckling. "Oh Taranee said she might be a bit late, and she'll join up with us later."said Maura sighing. "So... what this I hear about you and Jaybee?"Maura asked her smiling. "It's ok Kas, I think you two are cute together!"said Maura honestly.

Maura shook her head at Shane's question. "No I haven't, have you seen them Kas?"Maura asked her softly. Maybe she seen Jaybee and Carson together, seeing how there both Hufflepuffs.

All the attention on Kasumi made her feel welcomed. "Nice to meet you Shane! My name is Kasumi, Kasumi Takahashi." She smiled and laughed trying to act all cool. "I'd Love to go get robes with you guys!!" She smiled and turned to Maura. She hugged back and was so happy to finally see her best friend after it had seemed like forever. "Ooh alright. Taranee can join I guess." She shrugged and smiled. When Maura asked about her and Jaybee she blushed and smiled. "Weeeeeeeelll....its nothing. We are just friends!" She leans over to Maura and whispers in her ear. "..But I kind of like him...a lot!" When Maura replied, Kasumi smiled from ear to ear. "Thank you Mars! I think we do too," She said with a laugh. When Kasumi was asked about Jaybee and Carson, she shrugged. "You know, I haven't! That's really odd though. Jaybee is usually supplying for the upcoming school year." Kasumi looked around and put her attention back on her friends. "Do you think maybe they forgot?" She tilted her head in curiosity. She wondered where the two boys were and was very curious as to where they had ended up.

Shane shook his head. "No it's not like for Carson and Jaybee to forget, especially Jaybee!"said Shane honestly. "Maybe they are in another shop and we haven't seen them yet."said Shane shrugging. Although he was a bit curious where his other two best friends were. They were usually together already being silly and making the girls laugh. "There'll be here I know it!"said Shane keeping confident.

As they gotten the rest of their books, they headed towards the Robe shop to get some robes for the upcoming year. "Hey there you are Cars, where's Jaybee at?"Shane asked him curiouisly. Looking around for his other best friend but sighed when he didn't see him. "Ok... is this freaking anyone else out?"Shane asked them curiously. "Jaybee is usally never late, he hates being late!"said Shane.

Kasumi looked around looking for Carson and Jaybee concerned. She knew it wasn't like Jaybee to be late to anything. By now everyone there knew that Kasumi had a crush on Jaybee, so it was to no surprise that she was afraid something that has happened to him. She helped Shane look.
Carson showed up and Kasumi was a little relived. From what she knew Jaybee and Carson were usually together and they weren't which worried Kasumi even more. "It freaks me out as well," In reply to Shane's question. The fact that Jaybee was missing scared Kasumi. She wanted Jaybee and wanted to know he was okay. The thought of anything happening to him made her cry inside. She had to stay strong though. So she did. "Maybe we should go look for him," Kasumi spoke up breaking the silence. "I just can't help but think something has happened to him.." She looked down hoping Jaybee would show up soon.
