"It's a collector's item, Brant," Angus said. "I'm sure it doesn't get driven much except when I'm here. My brothers are a bit nervous about the possibility of denting it. Anyway, the dock isn't far from here, so its not a long trip." He drove to the dock and parked the car in one of the spaces reserved for the Donohue family's vehicles. "There," Angus pointed to a large sleek looking keelboat. "Let's go."
"Need another mate?" Evan, one of Angus's brothers asked.
"you just finished the fishing," Angus frowned. "Hvaen't you had enough for one day?"
"Not if you're actually going to raise the sails on her," Evan grinned.
"No, I thought I'd just leave her in port," Angus said sarcastically. Evan jumped on board
"So, let's do this. Are we fishing?"
"I thought we might try some deep sea stuff," Angus said.
"With him?" Evan teased, pointing at Brant. "He'll get hauled in, instead of hauling one in."
"Then I'll put you in charge of making sure that doesn't happen," Angus said, without missing a beat. Evan laughed, heading up to the bridge. Angus whistled at him. Evan just looked back. "The last I knew, the bridge was mine," Angus said. "If you're going to be a mate, get the lines. Come on, Brant." Angus headed up to the bridge to get the ship ready to sail.
Brian came back to the tea shop with two very large baskets loaded with supplies. The old man poured a second cup of tea, for Brian, and set it on the table with Khaat's.
"You do know its better if its fresh daily," the old wizard laughed.
"We'll manage," Brian said.
"Then I'd better bring you a small fridge or a cooler with some ice," the wizard said. "My apprentice will stop by and finish equipping the house the way Robert had intended."
"This wasn't it?"
"No. We just havent' had time to update it yet," the wizard said. "With your permision, we'll stop by and finish it for you." Brian looked at Khaat, who nodded.
"Its fine," Brian said, glad to see she approved.
