The Great Lake

Staring up at the sky while she waited for Zoe to answer, she wasn't getting annoyed but even more bored than before. Hearing Darren's voice, she clicked back in and rolled her eyes. He asked this question everytime Freddy came back. "He was busy." Ginevra said simply, shrugging her shoulders. She had no reason to question him, if it had been Darren then sure, let the questioning come but for Freddy, well, she just liked to have him around; he made her happy.

Hearing the answer, Darren sighed. He should of expected that, Freddy never had an excuse, just popped in like nothing had happened. If Gin had given that excuse when she had come back, he would have never talked to her again. Well that was an exageration, but he would still be angry. "Nice excuse" he said, rolling his eyes. "I'm starting to believe you like him as more than a friend. He sure does"

Ginevra's eyes narrowed right away, she really didn't like Freddy as more than a friend and she found it weird how people got that confused, as it was obvious who she had really fallen for, wasn't it? She thought so and she hated it but still, Darren denied that she had admitted it anytime by trying to lead her in a different direction. "I have as much feelings for Freddy as you do with miss Alesy." she placed her words using Alesy in there on purpose, her tone flat and emotionless.

Zoe watched the two of them. Darren and Gin, always intresting. She watched them and then turned to the lake itself.

Emily spotted Zoe near the lake. She walked up to her "Hey Zoe! How've been?" she asked, sitting next to her.

Darren rolled his eyes at Gin mentioning Alesy, she was so jealous. She always seemed to jump to conclusions about Alesy, even though she knew he didnt like her. However. It was kind of the same with him jumping to conclusions about Freddy. He knew Gin didn't like Freddy at all in that way, but knowing Freddy had a crush on her made him rather anxious. It was the same with most of Gin's male friends, he didn't like any of them. "Thats different," he disagreed, frowning. "I don't like Alesy that way and neither does she, I mean we havent even seen each other in forever." That much was true, after Summer, he hadn't seen Alesy at all. He missed her a bit, but not nearly as much as he had missed Gin when she had left.

Ginevra really was the jealous type, she had always been and didn't know if she would ever stop being like that. Rolling her eyes and letting out a rather loud sigh as he tried to tell her it was different, she shock her head as she knew perfectly well that it wasn't. "Don't ever try that with me, it isn't and you know it." she retorted, murmuring under her breath. Thinking back to the last time she saw Alesy, she shrugged; "I think she does, she's never really stopped." Not adding that she thought there was a possibility of it being Charlie instead of him now, she didn't want to give him that point. Slightly regretting opening her mouth once he reminded her that they hadn't spoken in awhile, Ginevra looked away. "Well, Freddy does disappear a lot."

Darren knew he had been lying of course, he knew that Alesy still liked him even though they had split up. Still, it was different - Alesy had given up on Darren, she was after Charlie Freddy hadn't on Gin. He opened his mouth to explain this to her, but then shut it again, she wouldn't believe him anyways, what was the point in explaining? He was pretty sure she knew Alesy liked Charlie now - or used to, she wasn't even here anymore. "Whatever, Alesy's gone, whats the point of discussing this?' Darren asked, rolling his eyes.

Sighing, Ginevra knew he had a point but she also was tempted to remind him that he had half started it, she had just really spoken more about it. "Don't blame it on me," she pointed it out, also rolling her eyes. Ginevra was always good at hiding things but when Alesy came in the topic, there or not, she was never able to do it, it was luck she just broke down in some odd way.
