Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Davina was getting annoyed. She couldn't find anywhere without people all throughout Hogwarts. There had been people in the common room, the empty classrooms, everywhere. She had already been kicked out of the library twice that day, so she couldn't go back there. She wished she hadn't talked back to the librarian now, as the library would have been perfect.

Looking at Davina's expression, she sighed and looked at the lake. "Davina, why don't you go swimming, it's quiet down there." she suggested. That was what Ginevra did when she was feeling the need to escape other things, it was just so peaceful and the things she saw were amazing.

Ginevra couldn't help but grin when she saw Darren message his arm, obviously it had hurt a bit. "That's something I don't even know." she lied smoothly, shrugging. There were newcomers now, she was definitly not saying anything, though she wouldn't even if they were gone. Waving to her fellow Ravenclaw, she totally ignored Zeb.

Charlie scowled. 'So you went to Malfoy Manor for no reason whatsoever?' he asked.'

Davina turned towards Ginevra, surprised to see that she was talking to her, to be helpful and not to make that awkward chit-chat that most people did.
"Um, thanks, but I just want somewhere quiet to read, but a quiet place doesn't seem to exist anywhere." Davina explained, then said "Oh, I know the library, but I've been kicked out twice already and I can't go back."

'Why were you kicked out of the library?' Charlie asked Davina interestedly.

Davina turned to Charlie. She knew she shouldn't have said that. Now she'd have to answer loads of questions about it. Oh well, this was her chance to be 'social' and make friends. She thought she may aswell get it over and done with.
"Um, I was eating, and apparantly there was a chance that I might drop something on the book I was reading. So I left. I came back later, and ate again, reading the same book. Then the librarian told me there was a 1 in 100 chance that I could damage the book by dropping food on it. I then put a piece of cake inside the book, slammed it shut, and told her to stop bugging me the next 99 times I went in the library. She got pretty angry and made me leave again. I don't really want to get a detention, so I'm not going back." she explained. She hated long explanations, but there was no other option at this point. She hoped everyone else was listeing, so that she wouldn't have to explain it again and again.

Ginevra heard Zeb's question but her attention was on Davina's case at the moment so she was going to suggest something else that she knew would work and then answer Charlie, then Zeb. He should be glad she just wasn't ignoring him still, she didn't care if he thought of it as immature. "How about the girl's dorm? I'm always the only one in there, so it'll be empty." she promiced, as she was sure of this. She only saw the people when she went in there instead of staying at the lake but they were always in the common room and never the dorm room. Turning to Charlie, she saw the scowl and her expression went confused. "No there was a reason, but why are you mad?" she asked, not understanding in the least bit. He had been happy to see her there, why was he mad hearing about it now? Sighing, she finally turned to Zeb and shrugged. "You annoy me with your very presense, answer enough for you?" she asked with her eyebrow raising. She knew it sounded and was rude, but it was the truth.

Davina listened when Ginevra spoke to her, but didn't pay attention when she spoke to the guys. She didn't really care what she said to them, it wouldn't affect her.
"Yeah, I went in earlier when you and another girl were there, but I prefer being outside, which is why I came down here. I guess I'll have to go and find somewhere else. I wish I could go down to Hogsmeade..." Davina replied, trailing off at the end into another daydream.
She seemed to be in a completely different world. She suddenly snapped out of it, and began picking her things up, as when she shoved her book in half of her other things fell out. Her bad was really full, and everything had to be packed in the correct place and order.
