Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Darren wrote:Darren saw Charlie heading their way, but change direction as he saw Gin. He didn't blame him, she did look scary when she was mad. He glared back at her. "Good to know.. I always thought of you as a muggle lover" he said smirking. Darren grinned when he saw her taking a step back, finally showing a reaction. "You don't really have a choice, i could put it in your drink while your not looking" he muttered, shrugging. Darren rolled his eyes at her again, before answering her next question. "I thought you already asked that.. Because im curious, and I care, and i want to see why is it such a big deal that you cant tell me. I mean we were best friends.. once upon a time"

Ginevra, who had had a father who was a father, always hated when anyone said things against them, not only Darren. The fact that people who could do magic thought muggles as lesser people just didn't make any sense to her, of course they were people to, even if they couldn't do magic! Why couldn't people, why couldn't Darren see that? She just didn't get it in the least bit. "Yes, I am a muggle lover, now get over it." she snapped, forgetting how it had even come up as her anger on anyone going against them just made her distracted. Noting now to watch all of her drinks, or get someone else to take a sip of it first, she was really not liking his determination for the first time. Feeling even worse as he continued talking, she didn't speak up for awhile after he finished, she hated the emphasise on certian words. "Get it through you head, please." she said, gritted her teeth as she added please. "I can't tell you." she didn't know how to tell him without actually telling him, he had to guess it and she doubted he'd be able to guess the one reason she wouldn't be able to tell him what he wanted to know. "Once upon a time should still be continued." she finsihed, pursing her lips before letting out a sigh.

[Jemz read some of it. lmao. she was the reason i actually stopped at 5,000 words and didn't go on. xD]

Darren rolled his eyes again, of course she did. He didn't really get people like her
didn't she get that muggles were SUPPOSED to be ruled over? Wizards were meant to rule over them. He put the bottle back into his pocket before replying. "I cant, i hate it when you keep things from me" he said stubbornly. "Ill find out one way or another.."He was really determined now, she kept a lot of things from him, but she was never this stubborn.. "Best friends don't leave each other for four months without contacting each other." he said narrowing his eyes. "They don''t keep secrets from each other either.."

Ginevra had noticed over years that most of the Slytherins, who's families were pureblood went along that line, she knew for a fact that Darren was under that catagory himself. She had always wondered how they had got to the place of being friends, their families were different and now it seemed she could remember making him feel guilty for commenting rudely towards muggles, though that was rare, just not unheard of. "This time i'm not doing it on purpose." she argued back. "No wonder you're not a Ravenclaw." she murmured under her breath. Swallowing at his muttering, she watched him put the bottle back. She really hated that stuff at the moment. "I didn't see any letters coming to me, so don't you start." she retorted, making sure he couldn't just get things on her. "Really, if you want to know, take the time to guess." she pleaded, frowning for a moment but then changing it so her face was unreadable. She didn't want him to start looking at her expression.

Darren raised his eyebrows when he heard her mutter something. "What was that?" he asked angrily. He was getting angry at her again. "How do you expect me to send letters to you if I dont even know where you went!?" he shouted, temper breaking again. "You didnt tell me or anything. Anyways, i sent an owl to your house, didnt get a reply, so im assuming you werent there? Or did you just not care enough to send one back?!" He watched her expression suddenly change, and frowned too. "Why cant you just tell me what happened?"

Hearing his tone in voice she could tell that he was getting angry at her once more, not always a good thing, expecially right now. "Well, it's the truth." she replied, as she had a feeling he was just asking it again, though actually having heard her in the first place. The house she was in for so called smart people, it had just been the first refreance to brain use that came to her own mind. Shaking her head, she bit her lip once more before relashing it. She shouldn't get the habit of doing that now. "I wasn't at my house, only been there once before coming here." she told him, shrugging momentarily. "I already told you I tried to send a letter, obviously I would have sent back!" she almost screamed, hating how he seemed determined to also prove her as someone who didn't care for anyone, didn't care for him. Seeing his expression change, Ginevra found herself having to look away for a second, letting her anger cool. Anger management, or whatever muggles called it, was something she seemed to need. "I told you I would if I could, but I can't, something is stopping me." Twitching slightly, huffing a little. "There's only one way you'd be able to know it." GUESSING, dammit. she added in her head, fusterated.
