“That’s just how Bones woman are. Not all women are like that. Neville and Hannah always bicker but I’ve never seen them fight like Ernie and I use to do. But again Hannah is very different from me. I’m just telling you that most feisty high-strung woman love a fight and if they don’t get one they will find it elsewhere,” Susan said. She was a fighter; she didn’t want to scar the poor boy with any more details. He was an adult though but still it would be a sure way to embarrass the boy. Why not? “There are a reason couples fight. You’ll realize it once you are in bed after one,” she added with a smirk. She had to admit she was evil. How in Merlin’s name had she been a Hufflepuff? She was a different person back then. She had been an innocent little girl back then now she was an Order Member, a survivor of two wars even though the first she was just a baby.

"I'll have to be sure to wrangle me a nice homemaker who says 'yes and no, dear'," James laughed, still twirling his wand.

His laughing rose in volume as he thought of her next words.

"Are you under the impression that I've never bedded a woman?" he asked through his laughter, tears streaming from his eyes.

“No, I’m just saying,” Susan said shaking her head muffling a laugh. That was the perfect reaction. She was really just testing the waters a bit. She found it quite entertaining to mess with James. It was turning into a game for her.

“I really would like to talk all day but I have work that needs to get done. It was nice visiting with you,” she announced. She really did have to get to work. She had to catch up on all the articles. She was very behind with her work. She didn’t even want to think about how much work she had.

"Oh, right," James said, lowering his wand, "I suppose I should get on with fixing up your sign then see if anyone else could use some help. Shoot me an owl anytime you need anything."

James readied himself to leave, only looking back at Susan for any further departing words.

“Alright, that’s fine with me. Now get before I make you sort through the hate mail,” Susan said with a smirk. She was tempted to throw the hate mail straight into the trash but how do you tell hate mail to good mail. Well, she would have to do sooner or later. It was part of the job. She should force an intern to do or something. It would be quite interesting to watch them try to handle a letter that had teeth. Susan had learned a lot of new ways to destroy a letter since she had started to work here.
