((Just to clear it up, Morrigan didn't scratch Khaat. She was just running a finger down her face, softly.))
Morrigan withdrew from Khaat at Ne'Os' words, trying to disguise the fact that she had actually jerked her hand back as if scalded. Wizards, especially those with wands made her nervous. She smiled at him, though her eye was cold.
"And that is why you have the wolves," she practically purred at the man, "because we are so good at killing and leaving a messy scene. I find that a marked victim lying in a pool of blood has much more of an effect on the family than one who has been killed unmarked, and looking as healthy as if they were just napping."
Morrigan backed away from Khaat as she said this, however; until she was standing on the floor, well away from the woman. Her eyes fell on Aaron as he lifted his invisibility spell, and stood fully visible in front of them.
"My apologies, Aaron," she replied at Aaron's words, "You know how the prospect of fresh blood excites me...."
Morrigan's attention was snapped towards Mystique when she lashed out suddenly with a spell towards the Khaat woman, suspended in the air. She smiled inwardly, sure that she was about to see some punishment. Her grin migrated to her face when Aaron disarmed her, and she began to approach Mystique, her eyes gleaming with excitement; only pausing when Mystique voiced her threat. She thought it prudent to await Aaron's next order, lest the witch do something stupid, and she be blamed as part of it.
Aaron Marcheti wrote:"Now, Morrigan, would you kindly escort miss McKay out of here."
Morrigan once again began to advance on Mystique, though not quite as menacing. She was somewhat disappointed at the word 'escort,' interpreting it to mean that Mystique was not to be harmed.
"Don't be silly now, girl," she hissed as she approached, "He has your precious wand. You wizards are nothing without that bit of wood."
