Susan pulled out a small ripped off piece of parchment from and a muggle pen from her purse. She wrote down her address neat as she possibly could without a hard surface. She could see her husband and youngest son were getting irritable. Her oldest daughter was flirting with a random boy, she sighed to herself. She didn’t need people going around saying the Macmillans guy were fighting with each other in public, she really didn’t need to go contracting even more gossip then usual. She felt out the neatly folded piece of paper.
“Melia, go round out the family,” said Susan. “Bye,” said Amelia, running off to do what her mum asked; she didn’t argue with her mum that would have been extremely stupid and irresponsible. Susan was glad Amelia at least listened to her. It made her life a bit easier.
“I’ll have her ready when you arrive. I ought to go get my family home. It was nice seeing you,” said Susan “oh yes, Khaat please keep Amelia away from where I work if possible.” She could only imagine how that would go if there was a run in.
Amelia came back with Drew since he was the only one who had listened to her. Her father just apparated home without the rest of the family, Amelia was rather confused by that but didn’t say a word knowing it wasn’t something to ask in public. Claire came over after getting the guy’s number. She glared at Amelia for interrupting her flirting session.
“Claire stop glaring at your sister and Drew chew your gum with your mouth closed,” said Susan with her back turned to her kids. Drew shut his mouth looking in awe; Claire now was glaring at her mother and Amelia just shrugged. “Hey mum, what am I doing?” asked Amelia sticking her tongue out.
“Sticking your tongue out at me,” Susan said. She had definitely developed the mother senses by now. She knew exactly how her kids were and could easy predict their reactions. She wondered when she had developed them, she had no idea when.
“How do you do that?” asked Drew.
“It’s a mother thing,” said Amelia.
Susan just laughed starting to herd her kids in the direction of the door when Amelia decided to point out the fact she had a book she wanted to get. Susan quickly bought the book trying not to make life too hard for the goblins. She gave Amelia the book then continued to herd her kids waving one last time to Khaat and Angus.
