OMG Trying to get any official documents in this country is freaking impossible!  

One of the questions I had to fill out to get a copy of my birth certificate was "please provide a copy of your birth certificate". What the actual F***?

I can only imagine how hard it must be for people who never had official documentation in the first place considering the shit I'm putting up with because I don't have a driver's license.  

On the other hand, having a driver's license apparently gets you access to everything?

Genuinely don't understand why some movies get massively rave reviews when they just confuse me. Am I bad at movie-ing?

Nah, I saw Trainwreck yesterday and I was like: "It was okay?"

Like, it's being billed as unabashedly feminist but the actual plot is that the protagonist has to grow up and learn to become ashamed of her sexuality. The message is literally the opposite of how it's being marketed.

Oh, awkward. I was bringing it up because I just didn't get Birdman. I didn't like it. I think I sort of maybe understood it right until the last like two minutes? But the first half was me going "I don't even want to finish this." Because none of it made sense. I was right in my assumption of the main character's issue, but even still it was irksome. So I finished it but didn't like it.

I did read the script, or.. well, I read some of it. And that was more interesting because it has those descriptions and explanations I was missing. But, really, I don't get why it won so many awards when other beautiful - not to mention understandable - movies that were nominated did not. It wasn't in any of the genres I usually lean towards, sure, but it was the most confusing movie I have ever watched.
