It think it is properly pronounced Sim-oans but that sounds terrible. My intentions was always for it to be pronounced Simmons.

(Oh and the reason I often write Rise's name like Rise up.. is cause my keyboard doesn't have an accent key :/)

Are you on a mac? It's alt+e and then you get a little accent with a line under it, and when you hit the vowel of your choice, it inserts where the line was. umlauts are alt+u ö
