Transfiguration was her third class of the day and admittedly, she was beginning to get quite weary. She’d had an early rise to join the Astronomy Professor in the tower of the same name to study the stars that only really during the latter half of the night and that had been followed by a spell in the Herbology greenhouses with the Professor who preferred to be called Robert. Cerelia had quietly insisted on referring to him by his title and his surname by doing so multiple times even though he’d assured her that it would be alright, that “plain old Robert” was mighty fine. She’d merely pursed her lips in response before nodding and begrudgingly beginning to refer to him as such. She’d been given a plot of land like all of the other students and had begun to cultivate it, preferring to use magic instead of getting her hands dirty like some of the other students were. They seemed perfectly happy to be covered in much and grime but Cerelia was not that way inclined what so ever. She wanted to preserve her robes, not reduce them to muddy rags. They weren’t nearly as expensive as the Durmstrang robes had been but she still took pride in her uniform, unlike those dirty Mudbloods and Blood Traitors.
It was from the Herbology that Cerelia now drifted, an apple cupped in her hand a similar colour to the roses that had been in the gardens. She had plaited her hair once more and it was now soft and smooth once again, a few spells having been used to take out the results the spring heat had had on her scalp. She was infinitely grateful for the bathrooms that were nearby the greenhouses. Once she was sure she was presentable again she left the bathroom, finding the smell beyond the double doors much easier to stomach than the scent on the air inside. Cerelia righted her facial expression and suppressed a shudder before picking up speed and returning to the grand staircase where from there she took the nearest flight of stairs up to the fourth floor. Transfiguration was much easier to find than Charms had been the other day and Cerelia entered the classroom without much hesitance, her confidence due to her weariness and to her familiarity with the classes.
Cerelia’s face twitched a little bit in disappointment upon finding she was the second person to enter the classroom. She had wanted to be at least on time, not dreadfully early like she appeared to be. She resisted the urge to frown and instead smiled warmly at the Professor who was stood at the front of the room. She stepped forward, walking down the aisle in a similar way to how she’d presented herself in her prior two lessons and Charms the day before.
“Good Morning Professor,” Cerelia smiled and nodded her head a little in greeting. “I believe this is Transfiguration, yes? So you would be either Professor Barker or Professor Wolfen, correct? Or have I made a mistake? Forgive me, you see...there are lots of names here. Apparently your school changes teachers quite a bit...how irresponsible.” Cerelia shook her head momentarily before looking up again and smiling gently. “So, who might you be, sir?”
