Trying Relax

Damon had drove to Kilbroney Park in Ireland because he wanted to get a away for a little while. He had brought everything he would need since he was staying for a little while there. Damon had a tent among other things that he would need if he was staying for an entire five days. He knew he would have to stay out of sight of anyone who would be around the park but he didn't mind that at all. Damon began setting up the tent in a heavily wooded area, the place where he was going to set up the tent was clear of all things except the dirt that stayed there. He waved his wand and the tent came up with ease and formed itself perfectly, then he went to find out if he was somewhere near water. He came upon a stream smiling with satisfaction then marked the way back to it when he would need it. He dropped his pack inside the tent then grabbed a small hand shovel to start digging a campfire hole. Damon stopped digging looking around knowing how alone he was out here, as peaceful as it was he would have liked the company of another person. He then dug the hole he intended for the fire then walked around to start looking for some firewood.

Ireland wasn't the first place she'd wanted to go. She'd really only wanted to go to a small park near her new home with her friends. But they seemed to have another idea, an idea that she really didn't want to go through with. It wasn't anything bad, oh no, it was just that they had wanted to go to Ireland to some park. She didn't understand what was better about this park they wanted to go to than the one she had wanted to go to. The only difference was that this park was further away from where she lived.

The only reason why it was so much better for her friends was because it was where they had met their boyfriends/husbands. One of her friends who had just turned twenty was already married to her long term boyfriend who she had been dating since she was about a sixth year in Hogwarts. Her friends all seemed to have a sort of discomfort when they were around her, all because she was a werewolf. Before when she was a half-vampire they were fine with it. They didn't care that she could turn them into a vampire whenever she felt like it, but they were afraid of her being a werewolf.

"Why did we have to come here?" she asked softly to no one in particular. One of her friends the same one that was helping her run the Cafe Twin Montez, Amanda, spoke to her. "You know why. We all met our boyfriends here. Well except for you." she replied softly. "Lexi has a boyfriend?" the other two girls asked curiously and teasingly. "Never thought that would happen." they giggled. "Shut up." Alexis laughed. "And yes I have a boyfriend. His name's Larko Abercrombie." she told then softly. "Oh wow. So when are we gonna meet him?" they all asked simoulantiously. "When I want you guys to meet him." was her simple answer to them, and the four girls laughed.

Damon heard girls laughing and sighed hoping it wasn't muggles that were walking around in the park. He walked over towards the voices then stopped behind a tree peeking around it. He didn't want his camp site to be ruined if some muggles found out about it then told the park ranger. Damon looked around at the four girls who seemed to him to look like muggles, he slowly drew out his wand. He was gonna use a charm to scare them off towards where they came so that he could be left alone in peace. Then his mind went blank on what charm to use so he had to duck back around the tree as he thought of which one to use.

Alexis felt a presence around them. Her werewolf instincts were very keen and she could smell that someone else was there. She sniffed the air a bit, making it as unknown to her friends as possiblr. The other girl's had continued their giggling, not noticing that she had stopped. There was a man, older than the four of them, hiding behind a tree near them. She let out a low, growl like sound and her friends immediately ceased giggling. They knew that growl, it was only used by Alexis when she sensed something suspicious.

The four girls reached for their wands, Alexis being the first one to draw it. She was very quick and agile, more so than when she was a vampire, and she swiftly made a movement that hid her wand from view. What if it was only a muggle? The four of them could get in trouble for using magic in front of a muggle. She sniffed the air in front of het, closing her eyes. When she reopened them, she grinned. It wasn't a muggle, she could sense the magic coursing within the man and her wand was soon pointed at the tree where she knew he was hidden.

"Levicorpcus!" she thought, using the nonverbal spell. She made a swift movement with her wand and saw a green stream of light fly from her wand tip to the man behind the tree. Her wand remained pointed at the tree, her guard up and her senses as keen as ever. Her friends stood behind her in different positions, but with their guards up as well.

Damon dodged the blow and jumped out from behind the tree and said, "Easy I'm not here to hurt any of you. I didn't know whether you were muggle or witches, i didn't want to have to leave my camp site because someone stumbled onto it." He put his wand back in his pocket to show that he wasn't going to harm them. He didn't want to walk away and leave his back exposed. Damon backed up a little more but he did this with caution and ease, "I will not harm you or your friends, that it not my intention or my will to do so."

[OOC: Just so you know Levicorpcus isn't a spell that can be dodged. It is a spell like Wingardum Leviosa. It is ment to hold the victim in place, almost like a binding spell. It isn't something that's supposed to harm Damon.]

Alexis' eyes were narrowed as they would usually be when she was suspicious of someone. She didn't move from where she was in any way, even after he explained that he didn't intend to hurt them. She usually had trouble trusting people that weren't in her family, and sometimes she didn't even trust her family members. Alexis wasn't sure if he was telling the truth or if he was faking it.

"Lex, I think he's telling the truth." Corinne, one of the other girls, said. She had lowered her wand and was now standing there unprotected. "I think so too." Brianna agreed with Corinne but Alexis and Amanda shook their heads. "Don't be so quick to trust him, guys. We don't know anything about him." Amanda told the other two girls. Alexis nodded and turned her attention to the Corinne. "Right. Cori, you remember what happened last time you trusted a stranger, don't you? You ended up in an alley close to dead. I thought you would have learned your lesson from that." she said in a stern, almost hissing voice.

"Shut up. I know." Corinne responded in a slightly frightened voice. Alexis turned her attention to the man again and she frowned slightly. "What's your name?" she asked him cautiously. She wasn't going to take any chances with trusting him. Her wand was lowered but her grip on it tightened and she was ready for anything that might happen.

Damon heard their conversation with each other and he looked at the girl addressing him. "My name is Damon Fields, I am telling you the truth what reason would i have to lie to you?" He asked looking at all of them. "I have no quarrel with any of you, i don't even know any of you. I have nothing against any of you, I'm only out here to camp and get away for the weekend. If you don't believe that my camp site is three yards behind me, go have a look if that is what you wish. I will not stop you nor will i cause any harm to any of you." Damon looked at all of them but he kept looking towards the one who still had her wand pointed at him. He thought that she looked like she could in an instant kill him without a second thought should he do anything wrong.
