The minister is the political official that is the leader
of the British wizarding goverment, and as such, he oversees
all other ministry departments. The Deputy Minister is in charge
if the current Minister is ill or simply unavailable. The Deputy
Minister is also referred to as the advice giver for the Minister.
They are the most trusted member in the Wizarding World; by the
Minister himself and the public.

British wizarding world, and as such, it holds trials for
wizards who have disobeyed the law. if you are in the

The Law Enforcement Department is responsible
for the safety of the wizarding world. The two primary
departments housed here is Law Enforcement (Aurors) and
the Wizarding verion of a department of corrections--which
in this case, is the administration of Azkaban prison. The
warden of the prison falls within this department.
The aurors are law enforcement officers, assigned to the
safety of wizarding Britain, to maintain wizarding law and
order and to arrest all versions of wizarding law breakers,
which could include Death Eaters, the search for mysterious
activity, and insuring that wizarding law is enforced. To
become an auror one must successfully complete auror
training, which is quite demanding and vigorous and include
various spells and abilities that other wizards are not trained
in. Aurors have been made into the new site faction. To apply

The second largest department in the Ministry of Magic
works tirelessly day and night to ensure that our world
is kept safe and that the Statute of Secrecy is upheld.
The Department for the Regulation and Control of
Magical creatures is the governing body of Beings,
Beasts and Spirits. Our intention is to keep both
those who are human and those who aren't safe
and to be able to do this, we need you.

Head of Department - Jack Dyllan
The Head of Department is the official leader of the Department for the
Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. The Head oversees the
whole department, signs off on important legal documents concerning
the documents and makes the final decisions on proposals made by
his/her colleagues.

These employees specialise in Magical Creatures classed as 'Beings'
by the Ministry of Magic. The definition of Being is "any creature that
has sufficient intelligence to understand the laws of the magical
community and to bear part of the responsibility in shaping those
laws" and any Magical Creature that falls into the Being bracket is
observed and looked after by these specialists. Wizards, Witches,
Muggles, Goblins, Vampires, Hags, Giants, House-Elves, Veela, and
Werewolves [in their human form] all fall into this category. People in
this Department work with all of these Magical Creatures, doing things
from Werewolf-Wizard Relations to keeping an eye on Underage Magic.

These employees specialise in Magical Creatures classed as 'Beasts'
by the Ministry of Magic. A Beast is a Magical Creature that does not have
sufficient intelligence to understand the laws of the Magical Community nor bear
part of the responsibility in shaping those laws and any Magical Creature that
falls into this bracket is observed and looked after by these specialists. Magical
Creatures such as transformed Werewolves, Ghouls, Dragons, Centaurs,
Merpeople, Hippogriffs, Thestrals, Dementors, Basilisks and Chimeras. Those
who work in this department work with all of these Magical Creatures, doing
jobs from improving Centaur-Human relations to working with the Werewolf
Capture Unit.

These employees specialise in Magical Creatures classed as 'Spirits'
by the Ministry of Magic. The word 'Spirit' is used to catalogue the members of
the Wizarding World that are spirit-like in state. These particular specialists will
work with Ghosts, Poltergeists, Gytrashes, Nymphs and Boggarts. Those who
work in this department do anything from welcoming Ghosts into 'the afterlife'
to regulating Nymphs and catching Boggarts.

Magical Creature Healers - Apply today!

These employees specialise in all Magical Creatures. They seek to not
only cure Magical Creatures of current ailments but they also look for
long-term solutions to illnesses that afflict all Magical Creatures. They
study DragonPox in Wizards and Witches and explore the effects the
Werewolf bite has on the Human body. They are the Magical version
of a vet but they do much more than that. They not only cure with
what they know but the they seek to cure by creating new medicines.

Secretaries, Interns and Personal Assistants - Apply today!

These employees are, basically, the help. They sort through the post
that comes through, go out in search of coffee and make sure that
whoever they are assign to are on time for everything. They truly
are an important part of the department though they are often
overlooked by nearly everyone. They are they gel that keeps the
department together and this is the best place to start if you want
to move up through the Ministry.

Reason for application: She had wanted a job in the Department, but could not bring herself to lock into a certain sector. She was the most experienced with poltergeists, had a talent for dragons, and had a passion for werewolf-human communications.
How did your character come into this position: Zoe Gould had promoted her after a few months or so of exemplary work. She worked hard, doing everything that was asked of her. Her hard work and her repuatation preceeded her

Owing to the large amounts of jobs here in non-essential areas, I'm thinking I'm gonna cull, or at least suspend all the specialist jobs, else we're too spread out.

Department Position: Assistant Head of Depart. of Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures
Reason for application: Marcus can use the extra money. HAving this position will be kinda a part-time job for him when he's not teaching. He loves magical creatures and having this position will use up some of his free time.
How did your character come into this position: Marcus saw the Ministry jobs and took an interest in the Department(It being his former job). He's now reapplying for assistant because he wants to kill of some of his free time, he loves magical creatures, and extra money wouldn't be bad.

I honestly don't see that position being listed at the moment in the Ministry listings. Are you interested in bein some sort of a specialist in one of the types of creatures? Or are you perhaps interested in one of the other positions? Let me know.
