Time to relax

Lance would look upon her again, as she would start to hum. He would close his eyes again, as he would hear words beginning to form. He would enjoy this change of pace, as he would start to whistle softly to match her rhythm. He listened to every word, as it started to hit his soul. Every word would tug at him, making him think about his life and the way things change.

It reminded him of back home, when he was with his parents and sister Mia. He had to follow many rules, and he couldn't make maybe choices in his life. He wondered about her life, did this song have a meaning to her. Could it be that she is suffering or that people were dragging her down with her. He would just keep up his whistling as he would wait for her to finish her singing. He found it to be enjoyable, and very soothing for anyone to hear.
