Welcome to Potter’s Army

Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

"Ummmm..... god what was it..... Oh yes I remember

bubotuber:A bubotuber looks like a thick, black, giant slug (it even squirms slightly, although it sticks vertically out of the soil) with many large shiny swellings on it that are filled with a yellow-green pus that smells like petrol. As Professor Sprout taught her fourth-year students, the pus reacts oddly with human skin. Undiluted, it will raise horribly painful boils on contact, but properly diluted and processed can be used to cure acne." he explained.

"Hi professor, sorry i'm a bit late." Jemma said, entering the greenhouse.
"Oh, are we describing plants." She said, looking around the class.
"Ok, ummm, Gillyweed: When you eat this you get gills and are able to breathe underwater for an hour, when you will return to your original state."
She remembered.

"How about puffapods? They're big pink pods, and when you drop them they flower. I don't think anyone's said that yet." Jemma said, trying to think of more magical plants.

Belladonna - a poisonous plant. Its essence is included in the pupil's standard potion-making kit.

I hope this hasn't been said

Dittany - "One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi" lists Dittany in its pages. Muggles also use this plant, both as a culinary flavouring and to aid digestion.

Or this one.
