Being Different.

Not a normal day. Never a normal day. Everything that happens everyday is never normal, in this life. Being a vampire always had something bad to it. One day it was that someone thought he was a monster. Another day it's because it's too bright out and he can't be in the sun too long. Other times, it's because his sister had to pick a fight with him. Would he ever get a normal day in his life? It didn't seem very likely with Ryo's luck.

There wasn't much to do in the castle, and Ryo couldn't stand being in the same place as those Death Eaters in the school. He hated them, and he knew that if he got near them he would harm them and that was the last thing he wanted. He would only get himself into trouble, and he was already in enough trouble with his own problems. As soon as he got outside of the castle and into the Forbidden Forest, Ryo jumped on to a large tree's branch and he stood there for a long moment. He was remembering the night he spent in the forest with Rise. Watching her transform and the attack of the other werewolf.

If it hadn't been because of the vampire inside him taking over his body, Rise wouldn't have gotten hurt. He would've preferred that he got hurt instead of Rise, it was't fair. He still thought it was his fault, because it was, and he wouldn't forgive himself for what happened to her, even though she was okay now and she told him that he shouldn't beat himself up over it. He'd sat down on the tree and one of his legs were now dangling from the branch while he had the other pulled up, close to his chest.

Ryo looked over his shoulder when he heard snow crunching under someone's feet. It sounded a little further away from where he was currently located. His eyes momentarily focused on the moon when it shone through the leaves of the tree and it's light hit him. Even though it wasn't a full moon, Ryo swore at it under his breath. Because of the moon, Rise has to transform and it has to be hard for her.

His attention once again went over to the sound of crunching snow. He stood up in the tree and looked around. His eyes were red from the anger he felt at himself. He saw a smaller figure not far from him, and he jumped from the tree. He landed nimbly on his feet and he stood up, slightly slouched. This stance made him look awkward and he inclined his head up a little, so that his eyes were a little visible. It was pretty dark so the red from his eyes couldn't really be missed.

The anger at himself became a little calmer and the red in his eyes became a little more dull. He brought his hand up to his face momentarily, then he swiped his hand in front of his face and through his bangs so that they moved to the side. He watched the girl as she stood there, looking at her hand. He wondered what she thought about that caused her to look so disoriented, and he smirked slightly. He looked down and saw her wand on the ground and his smirk widened. He didn't know it but the vampire was working hard to break free from his control and it wanted to attack this girl. The vampire was blood thirsty for some reason, but Ryo knew he could control him now.

The girl picked up her wand and had it pointed toward him. She said something and his smirk widened, as he stepped out of the shadow of the tree. His eyes were still red and his fangs were now showing because of his smirk. "You don't but I might." the vampire managed to mutter before Ryo took complete control of his body again. He walked toward the girl and smiled like he normally would. "No need for your wand. I won't hurt you." he said pushing her hand down, and looking down at her. His eyes were somewhat shaded by his bangs in his face.

Ryo smirked at the girl's comment, and even a little laugh escaped his throat. He moved his bangs out of his face, and looked at the girl. His eyes had turned back to their normal color and his fangs were showing again. "Don't worry. I won't hurt you." he said again. "I promise." he laughed, taking a step back from the girl and raising his hand. "I'm not one to actually hurt people." he told the girl. The vampire inside him was laughing at the girl's comment though. He was laughing at the fact that her eyes were narrowed as she looked at him. Like he was some kind of monster, which the vampire accepted that he was. But Ryo did not.

"What's you name?" he asked her. "I'm Ryo. Ryo Hiroku." he told her, extending his hand toward her. Saying this, if he tried to hurt her because the vampire took over, she would have some way of pinning her to it. But he hoped that the vampire would never be able to break free again, like he had when the other werewolf was attacking Rise. His eyes turned a deep shade of gray as he thought about that night again.

A small chuckle escaped his lips as he heard what she had to say. He raised his hands up out of his pockets and showed them to her. "I won't try that. I'm unarmed as you can see." he told her. "Would you like to hold my wand to make sure I don't do anything?" he asked her, almost teasingly. He smiled sweetly when he saw that her eyes weren't narrowed and that she was even smiling a little. He came out of his memories more and his eyes went back to their normal light green-ish color.

Ryo lost his smile for a moment, when he noticed that the girl seemed to be studying him. Had she never seen a boy before? Or maybe he just seemed different to her. Whatever it was she was studying he didn't like it. It made him feel uncomfortable, like he was more of an outsider than he already knew he was. Although he had to admit there was something strange about this girl as well. She was pretty, beautiful actually, and that wasn't usually normal. She must be a veela or something, because her beauty wasn't normal. "Evalyn. Nice name." he said quietly, studying her eyes. They shook hands, and afterwards Ryo retracted his hand quickly.
