Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Allen continued to avert his gaze, yet he couldn't help it. He looked and frankly it didn't matter to him. Perhaps she wouldn't even notice. "I suppose," he said, changing his stance "but from what you're doing, I don't know if you'd want to be just friends." Allen's humor was rather blunt, yet what she had been doing was pretty obvious enough to most people. "But-" he couldn't help but smile after saying that "yeah, I'd like to be friends." Now was the moment where the change was happening his figured. He would actually try to get a name for himself, instead of relying on others....who was he kidding? He liked the shadows.

Rhys couldnt help but laugh when she saw him looking at her butt, and when he commented on her behavior; she burst out laughing. "I'm sorry! I couldn't help it! You're just so cute!" she laughed and grinned at him. "I'm not open anyway so you'll have to get in line." she was teasing and she let him know by giggling and punching him lightly on the shoulder. "sorry to be a temptress I just had to see what kind of guy you are, you passes the test." she laughed and stretched her arms over her head and leaned back. "I'm exhausted though!"

Allen raised an eyebrow to the abnormal behavior from Rhys. He couldn't tell if she was flirting because she liked him, or if it was just a platonic thing. He couldn't tell, but he wouldn't take notice. "There's a line?" he asked curiously, wondering if she was single or not "Who's at the front then?" That would probably be a personal matter, but you had to start somewhere. He looked questioningly at her, showing a rather puzzled look. That was Allen for you.

Rhys raised her eyebrows at the boy and then giggled. "Well I don't have a boyfriend if that's what you're asking.." She said grinning at him and letting her hands fall to her sides as she pulled her foot up behind her to stretch her leg, resting her hand on the bench to keep herself upright. "But I have a few guys as I'm sure you understand." She winked at him and then grinned wider, feeling odd. Since when did she flirt like this? Oh well, it was fun! She definitely had to do it again, it was way to much fun to see their expressions as she basically flung herself out there, showing off and strutting her stuff.

"I don't... technically have a boyfriend... though... I guess.." Rhys frowned and then looked off in the direction of the woods. "There are some things you can't go through without becoming really good friends." She said frowning before she looked back at him, and then shrugged. "Sorry! I swear I'm not usually like this." She said laughing and switching legs as she stretched it out, and turned his back on her so that she could use the bench still, only with her other hand on it this time.

Allen listened with interest as Rhys began to explain. So there was someone....yet there really wasn't someone? Relationships confused him. He looked out towards the forest as she did and wondered if she had meet some weird centaur or something and they fell in love...what the hell was he thinking? More than likely, that would never even be possible, so that thought was put to rest. "So it's technically not a boyfriend," he repeated "yet just a really good friend? Sounds...tricky."

He grinned as she seemed sort of embarresed, yet Allen hadn't really taken notice. He was still shocked that she was even talking to him at all. Today seemed to be a pretty good day for him today. "Do you visit the forest a lot?" he asked, the question mainly emerging from his gut "seeing as how you jog a lot...I don't know where I'm going with this."

Rhys frowned and looked away from him. "Yeah.. I guess that's how you put it.." She said, her mind on Sam, remembering their time in the Forest, she didn't know what to think about it now. When he asked if she went to the forest a lot, she stiffened and stared at him. What did he know? Did he know? How could he know? There was no way! She stared at him in shock, her whole body frozen, even her shivering stopped.

"Um... no... not really.. why.. why do you ask?" She stammered, staring at him, unable to move from her position. If Felix found out people knew... Sam... he would get hurt, he would know by this point, that he was her weak spot.. if he got hurt... if anything happened to him. It would be... horrible. She could feel her breathing speed up, and she let her foot fall to the ground, and she turned her back on him when he said he didn't know where he was going with it. She was overreacting.. he didn't know anything.. he couldn't know it. If he did... she was doomed.

Allen looked at Rhys again, who suddenly had changed his disposition. He could just tell that she was surprised about something, and he couldn't tell what. "Umm," he asked in a cautioned tone "are you alright?" Now Allen was just freaked out a little when she got a little paranoid by her response. This definitely wasn't something normal, anyone could tell. "I was only asking because you kept looking out there, like you were watching something," he replied to her, in a simple tone, yet couldn't mask his sense wonder. "Why are you so freaked out about the forest?" He probably shouldn't of been asking, but he could relate. He had gotten lost in that place once and couldn't get his way out. How stupid he was back then.

Rhys knew she was being jumpy, and totally suspicious, and obviously this kid didn't have the decency to just let it be. When he asked her what she had against the forest, she just frowned. "Nothing! I was just staring in the general direction! I don't have anything against the forest.. it's just a creepy place.." She said defensively. "I mean.. it's a creepy place.." She said shivering some more and staring at him. "I was in there.. once.. and I will never go back." She said frowning as she stared at him, willing him to believe her and stop asking questions. If he asked her more questions, she may break down and either run away.. or tell him, she didn't know which would be worse. She wanted to be his friend, truly.. but... she couldn't talk to him if he asked about the forest again... not for a while anyway.

Allen could already tell that she was scarred enough by the forest to be answering any more of his questions. Regardless of what his brain told him to do, he would just follow his intution. "Okay," he responded, showing general concern "I was just wondering." Perhaps even wondering was dangerous enough. He looked back out towards the forest's direction though and couldn't help but think that something must be happening there. He wanted to find out, but his gut wouldn't let him. It was...well to put it bluntly, dangerous. "Let's just put this behind us then...umm..." he had no idea what to talk about next. It was just the main thought of why she was so afraid that kept clouding his mind. "Do...you...like school?" Very vague, but it saved the day.

Rhys couldn't help but be relieved when he dropped the subject. "I recommend staying far away from there.. alright?" She said carefully, leaning towards him uncertainly. "Just.. don't go in there... it's not safe.. at all.. take it from me.." She said looking genuinely concerned for his safety. "Seeing as your my friend now.. I've determined that we must sneak into the kitchens and nick some hot chocolate.. like the good kind, and then go sit outside by the lake, how about it? We'll get some rolls, and dip them in, and it'll be great, come on." She said and reached forward, grabbing his arm lightly. "That okay with you?" She asked with a grin in his direction.
