Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Roland turned white as she mentioned Grindelwald, clearly he had worded his accusations wrongly, which had allowed Zada to make it seem like he was blaming the minister rather then Zada. Still, years of being at the ministry had made him knowledgeable of the fact that cowering against another official would simply decrease your respect, it was better to stand up respectfully against them. Zada Forbes didn't scare Roland, and Roland knew well enough that Grindelwald needed him just as much as this insane woman, or perhaps more. "And now you are doing it again," Roland replied with acid tones. "I am one of the minister's most loyal servants. I helped him gain the post, and now I am only speaking up against you because I want him to keep it, as you are not helping. So don't you dare question my loyalty again, woman."

Thaor watched from the far end of the artrium as this little mee....could you call it a meeting? It was more like a mass grave digging. One by one people left the meeting. Thaor was not surprised though. Grindlewald would be replacing them all with his own goons.

Thaor's appearance was a lot better than it had been in a long time, no cuts, no bruises, he had nice clean clothes. his hair was it's normal blondish brown color instead of grey. Once it was only Zada, Grindlewald and James left, Thaor approached them. Ms Forbes, Mr Roland. Thaor said with a nod two each. Minister, could we have a word. Thaor said, turning to Grindlewald, grasping his wand in his pocket.

This was the first time Thaor had been face to face with Grindlewald since Grindlewald became minister.
Technically Thaor was still Deputy Minister of Magic, for now.

Post by Alan Wake Sun Oct 09, 2011 12:42 am

Alan Wake was not surprised to find that he was late. Rather, he was quite surprised by the turn-out this time around. The last meeting had been disastrous at best. He was rather content with the decorations however. Clear signs that Grindelwald was afoot. Nothing like a little intimidation to indicate who was in charge. He did not truly miss the statements of the new rules and regulations, but for Alan Wake, it did not matter. As long as he did his thing, not a single soul would pay him heed. Regardless he sat in his chair, silently and stiffly, surprising considering his large build.

Alan Wake did not make motion to apologize for his tardiness. He did not see the need to call attention to himself. This meeting was meant to tie up loose ends and set forth the new regime.
Though he certainly hoped that Grindelwald had not acted too absurdly. It would be prudent to mark all derivations from the assigned path they had set forth upon his initial re-conception.
