Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Aaron looked up when he heard her exclaim and he felt a happiness surge through him. He could not explain why he felt the way he did, but he was glad she showed up. It was weird, he felt like he had a lot of friends, but at the same time he felt like he had none. They were all in Slytherin and they only hung out during the school year and Aaron was left alone all summer and winter breaks. Not that his parents would have allowed anyone over, it just would have been nice to have some friends to be around when he was alone.

"Hi!" He exclaimed back, but he was immediately cut off as she tripped and fell onto him. His eyes went big and he lifted his hands up defensively to try and catch her, but he could not. He was not injured by the fall, instead he grinned, and lifted himself off the ground quickly. "No, its okay!" he said excitedly before he looked around. He realized that most students were off to bed and the prefects would be out soon.

"Follow me!" He exclaimed and then took off towards a long hallway. He knew of a place, mostly because he had sneaked out many times before, where no prefects or heads walked around. It was a long hallway, though very dark, and they would be able to just walk around it. "Grab onto my shirt if you cannot see." He said with a grin. The hallway was pitch black, but he knew exactly where he was going.

His hand felt along the hallway, going from door to door, until he finally found the room he was looking for. He pulled his wand out and tapped on the handle saying "Alohamora." And the door clicked and was unlocked. He slowly pressed in and then shut it behind them. It was even darker in the room and he said "Lumos." and the room lit up. Inside where a bunch of dusty old seats that had been covered up, but that was not why he was there. He ran towards the curtains and he pulled them back, revealing a beautiful view of the hills surrounding Hogwarts.

"Its not the best view, but it is the best one I could think of while we are out after bedtime."

Alexis looked around and saw that since most of the students were now gone, no one saw her fall on him and she felt slightly relieved. She would have hated it if someone had seen that, because then they would've taken it the wrong way, and rumors would have started. That was the last thing Alexis needed, for rumors to be started on her first day at a new school. Anyways no one knew her and they couldn't say anything about her over that small trip, it just wasn't possible. Or at least it wasn't in Alexis' mind. "Still... sorry." she said softly, still slightly embarrassed at the fact that she just fell over him.

"Huh?" she softly said , as he told her to follow him and he took off toward a long hallway. She quickly took off after him and whispered, "Wait up!" as she ran behind him, reaching out totry and grab onto his arm or shirt, or anything since she couldn't see a thing in front of her. She was finally able to grab him by the arm, and she held onto hi, a little bit of fear creeping into her. It was so dark in the corridor and she looked around frantically, not knowing where he was taking her. "Where are we going?" she asked innocently, a small voice backing up her innocent tone.

Being so scared of where they were going, Alexis didn't feel him stop and she sort of ran into him, forcing her body to stop moving. He unlocked a door in front of them and she quickly stepped in behind him, and heard him close the door behind the two of them. She squinted toward the darkness of the room, not seeing anything until he said lumos and the room lit up. She rubbed her eyes and blinked trying to get used to the sudden light. As he pulled back curtains that were in the room she ran to the window and looked out at the scenery. She gasped at the beautiful view and gazed in amazement at the hills. Her eyes soon found the moon, and she stood there staring at it, as if she was hypnotized by it.

His voice called her back from the moon, and she looked over at him. "It's after bedtime?!" she asked. Boy she was late, but this was all still so new to her and it would take her a few days to get used to it.

He stood beside her, glancing over to see if she was enjoying it. He smiled brightly when he noticed that she was and then he returned his gaze to it. He had been to a lot of places and seen a lot of things, but for some reason, Hogwarts was the most personal to him. When he was here he did not have to impress his parents, or anyone for that matter. He could be himself and do the things that he wanted to do. He loved Hogwarts.

She said something about it being after bedtime and he turned around and sunk to the floor. He shrugged his shoulders and laughed. "Yeah, but it is the first night here. If anything, I will get in trouble and you will be fine." He thought of how much the other Slytherin boys would make fun of him if they found out he was out after dark with a Ravenclaw, and to make things worse, she was a first year. They would give him hell for that.

"There are so many things around this place!" He said, excitement building in his voice. "This is nothing compared to the Astronomy tower or the Forbidden Forest." He cut himself off and thought of all the cool places he had discovered over the years. "But I wouldn't worry about getting into trouble. You're a first year in Ravenclaw and I am, after all, a Slytherin. I will be the one to take the fall so just enjoy it." He looked up and he smiled as brightly as he could, trying to soothe her.

Staring at the moon the way she was, you'd think Alexis was a werewolf. But it was so pretty and bright, Alexis couldn't help but just stare at it. The stars around it helped bring out if's true beauty and she sighed, putting her hands on the windowsill in front of her and leaning against it to look out at the moon a little more comfortable. It was only her first day there and she felt like it was the best day ever already. She had never seen anything so pretty before, and she always had a pretty good view of the moon, since she was always awake at night, being a half-vampire did have its advantage.

As he sat down on the floor, she smiled and sat down next to him. Subconsciously she leaned toward him and rested her head on his shoulder, as she so often did with her father when she was younger. Of course he wasn't her father, but she felt safe when she was around him and even though it seemed weird since she had only just met him, but it was true she felt safe around him. As she leaned against him she felt a smile form on her mouth and she sighed.

When he said it would probably be only him that gets in trouble, her smile left her face and she looked at him with worry. "But..." she began. "I don't want you to get in trouble. I don't care that you're in Slytherin, I don't want you to get in trouble because of me." she told him softly. She didn't know much about Hogwarts yet, so naturally when he said the Astronomy Tower and the Forbidden Forest, she was a little confused. "What are those?" she asked, her head tilted a little to the side as she looked at him.
