Rise was struggling to catch her breath, and finally she managed to do it in the moment of silence as the girl smiled at her and her mind snapped into place as to why she was so afraid. It wasn't anything about the girl, it was the fact that the wolf inside didn't like her, wanted her to bolt. The girl was a Vampire. How many of them were in the school! Holy crap! Rise caught her breath and realized the girl didn't know what she was, but she did recognize something else about the girl. She was a Hufflepuff. "Oh.. erm.. yes.. yes, I'm sorry.. I guess you just.. gave me a fright is all.. I'm lost, and I wasn't expecting to run into anyone up here.." she said trying her best to smile as she took a step away from the suit of armor and towards the girl, every instinct in her body telling her to run.
It was late, no one was around, and she was in the presence of her worst rival. Well, obviously they had something in common, they were both Hufflepuffs, and Rise had never even met her, so it was hard to call her a rival, but the fact stood clear, She was a vampire, and Rise was a werewolf, she made sure to keep that fact secret, though obviously some people knew, a few she had told, or found out, or were in her dorm, those who had to know for their own safety. But this girl shouldn't.. she wasn't sleeping in her dorm, she was sure of it, she looked to be maybe a year or two younger then Rise, which was comforting, Rise was older, she had the upper hand, sorta.. "Rise.. Rise Lehmberg." she said softly, slowly moving forward to the farthest point she could get from the girl without seeming rude, and sticking out her hand. "Hufflepuff 6tn year." She said simply, tugging uncomfortably at the Hufflepuff scarf around her neck, knowing it was hot, and knowing she shouldn't have it on, but if the girl saw her scar... that would be disaster.
