So soon, we will be introducing a Mystery Forum, which is a little experiment of mine.
What will happen is every time I am struck with whimsy, I will post a forum in the Mystery Forum space. There, it will be open to everyone and there will be plenty of subforums, etc. There is one rule- every thread in the forum has to be an open thread. Once you see what sort of forums we have in mind, you'll understand that that's not SOO bad. Expand your horizons!
Now this Mystery Forum will appear and you must begin posting like mad... because who knows when it will suddenly disappear- most likely, once the posting in it begins to decrease. (We will probably give hints that the forum seems like it's dying and will be closing soon). Obviously active threads will be moved somewhere so they can finish up, while dead threads and the rest of the forum will be moved off to the pensieve. The Mystery Forum will be a blank, gaping hole until the next one appears. And then, another one will appear.
I already have a few ideas for the first few.. but I'd love suggestions- please PM them and keep them secret!
The first sighting of the first Mystery Forum should be approaching...
