Damien sighed when he caught Georgia rolling her eyes. He had always been quick to notice nuances on people, but it never really meant that he could manipulate them, yet. He had so much to learn. But suddenly, Damien wondered at his anger. He had never been so insistent before, and part of him knew he had to give a rest. Georgia had, at times, mentioned guys going after her. But mostly, he had ignored those as merely admiring his friend, not really imagining them having other designs on her. Still, that was then. Going on to Fifth Year, Damien realized how much more likely he was going to find Georgie snogging with a boy he probably knows, and even someone he had never seen before. Merlin forbid it was someone he had never seen before, because that might mean a stupid Gryffindor boy, or a lousy Hufflepuff. But Merlin forbid, too, if he knew the boy snogging Georgia. That would mean a Slytherin boy, and Damien suddenly felt sure he would set his wand on this imaginary future boy of Georgia's. Damien frowned. What had gotten into him? He cleared his throat, as if to clear those thoughts, and looked to Georgia, who seemed to be waiting for an answer that he had forgotten to what of.
"Urm. What's going on here anyway? Elijah's father getting married? Who to?" He was curious. His own mother had married a filthy muggle, and he felt as if part of him wanted that same curse to fall upon the Elijah's father, simply because Damien did not like the other boy. But such a possibility was unlikely. Pureblood families hardly give in to something as blasphemous as that. Damien sighed again, upset that his own family could not hold together as a proper Pureblood one. It could very well thwart his chances of position among the Deatheater, a group that he believed himself to be a future member of. He was still thinking of ways to manipulate his mother, to make sure she leaves that muggle. So far, the only solutions seem to be the ones that will throw him into Azkaban, so they were not solutions at all. He still wanted to live with some freedom.
"And, urm, how're your parents, Georgie?" Damien had briefly met his best friend's parents before, and he thought it polite to ask after their welfare, even if he was not close to them.
