What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

To be honest, I would be mortified if J.K. wrote another book - woahwoahwoah, don't shoot! Don't get me wrong; those books were probably the best I've ever read, and Harry Potter is a now, strangely, a big part of my life - but Deathly Hallows was closure for me... very painful closure. If she were to write another book, she would simply be opening up that wound again.

Same here Red. HP series is great as it is, a new book will just spoil it IMO.

From what I've heard, its just a fandom site offering various things to its members. Its sort of like a social network site, which has competitions, games, fan fiction... etc. Perhaps the HP encyclopedia will be there too. At least according to rumors.

Anyway, we'll know soon.

I know, I freaked out.

I just hope she's not taking it too far, like opening old wounds. There are things she could do to make this interesting... Like a shoot off or something. Forgive me for using this as an example, but when I heard Lion King has made a third movie (Lion King 1/2) I was upset, but it turned out to be clever and only added to. HOPEFULLY, this won't be a desperate attempt to keep it alive, because it doesn't need reviving.
