((Setting is Hogwarts Grounds, but permissions are evil. Everyone is encouraged to attend, to commemorate the falling of Harry Potter and all those other people who died.
Fred
It is raining, but we're under a marquee, and it is early to mid afternoon, and the official part has just concluded, so you're all already here.))
Jess stood under a great marquee, stretching across a great portion of the Hogwarts grounds, erected in order to keep the rain off everyone, after it had become apparent in the early hours of this morning that rain was going to be unavoidable. With all the classes suspended today, it seemed far more fitting to continue with the initial outdoor plans, in order to commemorate the fallen.
While it was not a completely sombre occasion, 26 years had dulled the sting a little bit though a slight bit did still remain, it was not a completely lighthearted one, not just yet. Give it 20 minutes or so when everyone shed the sad looks remaining in everyone's eyes as a result of the ceremony, get some firewhiskey into everyone, then let the mood rise. Perhaps the rain might even let off.
On the note, Jess poured himself a glass of whiskey and moved into the crowd of people eager to meet the Headmaster he'd heard so much, yet so little about.
