Tish passed Lana in the hallway at Hogwarts the next day. She knew what had happened between Lana and Jeremy. That was obvious by the look on Lana's face. Tish wasn't stupid. But she wasn't in the mood to talk to Lana.
She had the letter that she had found on Jeremy's blanket. She hadn't showed it to William either, although William was worried that Jeremy was nowhere to be found. Tish hadn't showed the letter to anybody. Professor Wilson, as Gryffindor's Head of House knew that Jeremy wasn't on the grounds and hadn't been to classes. She presumed Wilson was just guessing for now that he was skipping classes for the day and was mounting a list of ways for Jeremy to redeem himself.
Tish wasn't sure how to take his note. It was rather long and poignant. Tish wasn't sure whether to be angry at Jeremy, Lana, William, or herself. But she was worried about him. She didn't honestly know if he was alright or not. Clearly, he was confused. He had counted on it being just another one night stand like all the others. And when it hadn't been, it had confused him and everything he ever thought he stood for. He had talked about Lana's rejection of him, although his account of it was confusing. His wording was all muddled, showing his muddled thinking now. And the longer he was gone and didn't come back, the more concerned she was becoming. She headed to the library to find a map of the area and see if she could gather any ideas of places to look.
