Felix stared at the Minister across the desk from him. Offering him tea? Asking him how his accommodations were? Felix stared at him with a small amount of disbelief as he offered him tea. He stared at the tea and didn't reach for it. His hands were free, and he could do whatever, of course it wasn't like he could do much strapped to the chair as he was, but hey, it was a start. When he was around people, they tied his hands back, it was just like that. So it was odd that his hands were free, simply so he could drink some tea, have a pleasant chat with the Minister of Magic, and go back to his cell? Yeah right. Felix felt himself smirk slightly, and shrugged. "Sure, the bed is beautiful, lovely view from my room, the food is simply exquisite, and the Dementors are the perfect hosts, I could be on vacation." He said with an absolutely straight face.
He watched as the Minister took a drink out of his own tea, and felt his eyes narrow slightly. He had poured both of their tea from the same pot.. and both of the glasses had been empty, would the Minister really poison himself, just so that he could get to Felix? Probably not.. So obviously the tea was fine right? He wasn't so sure, but it looked so inviting, sitting there on the desk, next to the sugar. Felix, after a moment hesitation, reached forward and put two cubes of sugar into his tea, before bringing it to his lips. He kept it there without drinking it for a moment, just smelling and enjoying the fact that the tea was his to drink. He hadn't thought he'd ever actually get to drink tea in Azkaban, and yet here he was, sipping tea.
After sitting with the tea to his lips for a few moments, Felix took a large gulp and nearly sighed with how good it tasted. After the bland food, that was usually nearly rotten, bread as hard as rocks, and a bed that less comfortable then the floor, this tea was like heaven. Such a simple thing to love, but here it was, Felix was basking in this taste, a taste he had guessed he wouldn't ever get to experience again. Setting the cup down, he looked up at the Minister. "Is this really all you wanted from me Minister? I'm sure you have better things to do then to question..." Felix froze, and his mouth opened slightly, it started in his stomach, a burning, itching, painful sensation, that flew through his veins, making him feel like he was on fire. He closed his mouth and gulped, as his mind was suddenly attacked by memories, his worst nightmare, every bad thing that looked like it hadn't affected him, but had. Then pain sprouted from between the eyes, his head felt like it was going to split in half, and his hands automatically went to it, trying to keep his head in one piece.
He gasped loudly, and doubled over on himself, his hands on his head, memories flashed past his eyes, his skin burned and crawled, his head made every physical pain feel that much worse. It was like he was being attacked from every angle, every bit of him hurt and in pain, even his emotions were under attack, making him feel so many different things it hurt to even sit there. More gasps escaped Felix's lips, and he shifted around in his chair, as though trying to find a spot where it would hurt least it was like a crucio curse for every part of him, not just physically, but emotionally, mentally, every' ally' part of him was fire, and his eyes slowly raised to look up at the Minister. So the tea had been poisoned, Felix was an idiot, blinded by the fact that he got tea, it was like he had gotten a small taste of heaven, before they remembered he wasn't supposed to go there and sent him straight to hell.
