Keith stumbled into his classroom just in time to see Aurora hit the desk in frustration. Keith winced. That must've hurt her knuckles. Luckily, it gave him enough of a distraction to slip in unnoticed, taking a seat a few rows behind the Lucy girl he had met on the train. Some new girl was sitting up front, making him the only guy in the class so far.
The teacher, meanwhile, was looking at Aurora quite calmly. She took a deep breath and stood, exhaling loudly as she began to walk towards Aurora.
Keith scooted away, trying to stay as far away from the woman as possible. He had only taken this class to learn attack magic. Not become the training dummy.
Sandra stood in front of Aurora, chewing her lip and thinking. Then, in a dangerously low voice, she spoke.
"Outbreaks," she said, "Will not. Be tolerated. Do you understand? Five points from Gryffindor." She stood there for a moment, and finally spoke again. "But that's not enough, for people like you Aurora. I know the type. I used to be just. Like. You." With each word she moved closer to the girl, finally turning away and pulling her wand from her sleeve. "So I'll ask the rest of the class a question. What should be done with poor, misunderstood little Aurora? Answer, or you're all punished."
Keith gulped and looked around. Screw that, he was not going to be the first one to speak out.
