Ivy couldn't sleep, so she decided to take a walk. She headed for the Great Lake, but before she left she petted her cat, "Now you be good Kitty." she wispered to the fat orange cat. He meowed and yawned going back to sleep.
Once outside Ivy started to hum to herself, she loved the night air is seemed fresher and cooler then day air. She staried out towards the Great Lake and wondered if she would ever be able to swim in its waters. She shook her trying not to think of it.
Ivy saw a few fireflies fly around and skipped towards them, she began to sing softly, so not to wake the grounds, "You would not believe your eyes if ten-million fireflies lit up the world as I fell asleep cause they fill the open air and leave teardrops everywhere. You'd think me rude but I would just stand and...stare. I'd like to make myself believe. That planet Earth turns slooooowly it's hard to say that I'd rather stay awake when I'm asleep, cause everything is never as it seems..." She saw a shadow against a tree near by and couldn't decide if she should check it out or not.
