Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Chase sat in the library by herself in the farthest back corner that she could get. She sat with a fiction book on the table, but she wasn't reading it. In fact, she was just staring at a page in the book. Her eyes were glued to one word, and she hadn't moved from that one word, for almost five minutes now. Not that she knew what the word was, but she was just staring at it, thinking hard. Elijah... she loved him so much, but there was no way she could keep him. He wasn't the type to be held down, she had given him the chance to leave, he had left, he had said he loved her, then he had flirted with another girl.

Was it selfish.. to want to have someone who loved her before she got pregnant? To want someone to like her not because she WAS pregnant, but because she was her. Chase had undergone some serious changes to her appearance in the last few days. Not because of her pregnancy, in fact she looked just as skinny as ever (Thanks to the robes that Jen had bought her) but as she lay there, she played with a strand of hair, a strand of hair, that only came to her chin. It was roughly chopped, and ragged, and only to her chin. Chase let her finger twist that strand around for a moment before letting it go again.

She had been having nightmares, horrible nightmares. Ones that showed Elijah being tortured and killed, one that showed her baby coming out and looking like a demon, little claws and red glowing eyes. They were always different, but they always woke up with Chase screaming, her entire body in pain as her scars seared with long past spells. Chase rested her head on her arms and gave up trying to look like she was reading. She was to tired, and to sick of it all to even try anymore.

Adam was returning a book to the library. He sensed a bit of tension in the air of the place however. It was a little too quiet for a library. As if those words could be strung together in a sentence. But it really was; it was eerie almost. Adam needed to find a good night read anyway so he'd keep his eyes peeled. He was turning a corner to enter the next shelf when he saw the familiar site of Chase sitting down. She looked horrid though; like she hadn't gotten sleep in weeks. He decided it best to maybe leaver her be; especially when he considered their previous engagement. But his hormones got the better of himself. Before he even knew what he was doing; he was already right behind Chase. He continued around to the front of her. He gave her a warm smile; she seemed sad. "Mornin' Chase..." he said to her taking one of th empty chairs beside her. "'Ow are you zis morning?" he asked.

He placed his first book on the table. He still had one to look for; one about fairytales. Ones that had happy endings not sad ones. One's where the bride got the groom she always wanted; or the boy got the girl he wanted. At this thought a frown quickly flashed apon his face. "Eet takes more muscles to frown, zan to smile" his grandfather had always told him. Well, had always told him. He suddenly realized why it was so tense; everyone was shunning Chase. But I mean you could barely tell she was pregnant...and Adam didn't care! In fact given the option he would...nevermind. He didn't have that option at the moment. He didn't know if he'd ever have that option.

But his mind drifted to the sounds coming from outside. It was sunny out, but the wind still howled against the large castle. Autumn was really making fast pace; Adam was used to cold though. It got almost as cold as Canada by now in France. He always loved going ice skating with his mom and dad. Peter would tag along sometimes as well. It was always really great fun! He felt something warm in his pocket and new it was his grandfather's pocket watch. It wasn't charmed or anything; just a simple watch. He knew his grandpa was with him. He could almost here him using the fake accent of a pirate "You've got to take that girl and kiss her before she realizes you're not good enough for her." he would joke. His grandfather and father had always taught him women deserve respect. Women always come before men. A man takes care of the women of his family...but Chase wasn't part of his family. But he still wanted to take care of her!
