Logan glanced up as Lucy veered over towards him, having just sent a Bludger flying in the opposite direction. She began to explain a little more about Beating, saying that it was all on the geometrics of the hit, rather than the force. but he glanced down at the bat, a little unsure. Even if that was true, it didn't inspire much confidence. He had never been good with math.

Still, he had to try if he wanted a permanent spot on the team. He hefted his bat and pulled back his arm, waiting for the Bludger to near him and trying to keep on his face what he thought was a calculating look, but it looked more nervous than anything. When it was in range he hit it, aiming for the goal posts but sending it spinning slightly to the left of them. He sighed. "I'll get it eventually," he said, his brow furrowed.

Luna got on her broom, and took off, but not before greeting Stephany. "Brienne's doing okay, but she feels betrayed. Daniel made her cry and I don't know why". Once she was up in the air and had her bat, she smiled. "This shall be a piece of cake". She watched as the bludger came near her, but she had an intimidating look in her eyes. She hit the bludger, and hit it HARD. It flew a beeline towards one of the goalposts. She snickered as the ball just stopped short of the goalpost. It almost left a dent.

"Geez, I had no idea these things could go THAT fast". She stared in wonder, and the bludger suddenly came back towards her. She hit it again, and it soared high in the sky, and through one of the goalposts. Would she need the Beater practice? She didn't know what practice she'd need.
