Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Ravenclaw Common Room Empty Ravenclaw Common Room

Post by Brienne Ravenquist Thu Sep 30, 2010 9:56 am

Ravenclaw tower was one of the tallest towers in Hogwarts. Possibly bigger than Gryffindor tower. It was said to be an airy room, and it certainly was; it was in the tallest tower. The room didn't take up the entire tower, though. Most of the tower was taken by dorms, which seemed to extend the common room significantly even though they weren't a part of them.

Brienne slipped inside the common room, having answered the Ravenclaw question posed by the portrait on the outside. It was empty, save for the padding sound of her feet which seemed to echo through the large room, making an unstable vase shudder. The fireplace seemed to come alive with a crackle when she stepped inside. The two doors that lead to the Girls and Boys dorms respectively were off to the sides.

She sat down upon one of the couches, and put her feet up. She cracked open a favorite book and started to read. She thought about how this was her last year and how she was grateful for it. The teachers were idiots, or just plain rude.
