Speaking of animals, Khaat heard tapping, more like an eager pecking, at the shop window beside them. She looked over to see Archangel's regal figure there, with a message for her. "There he is now. I think everyone knows he's mine. After all, how many bald eagles do you see in Diagon Alley, really? Excuse me." She went to the shop door, and the bird flew in and perched on her shoulder. "Thank you, Boy," She petting him returning to the table and putting the message in her pocket. She'd get to that later.
She looked at Luna, "This is one of my best friends, Luna. This is Archangel. Archangel, this is Luna. She's a friend." He looked at her, studying her. One of her servers brought her some bites of cooked fish that Lizzie had reserved back for Kedgeree for breakfast, set it on the table and left quietly. Khaat watched her eagle eyeing the fish hungrily. "Yes, its for you," she laughed. She picked up a bite and fed it to him and watched him snap it out of her fingers and swallow it down eagerly.
"You have to keep your fingers out of the way of that powerful beak. That can do some damage," Khaat laughed.
