We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

This wasn't exactly the answer that Becca had been hoping for, but she just met him today, so she shouldn't have expected a life story. But what he gave her sounded interesting enough, traveling the world and being incredible at potions, he was better than her already. She wondered where in the world he traveled to specifically, but she didn't bother asking, only so she wouldn't make him feel uncomfortable. "That's cool, I wish I could do that" She said, smiling.

"I know Elijah and Sophia, but I never talk to them, and I think I've seen Zach around, but I'm not sure" She shrugged. "Suzannah's my best friend, I'm surprised I never seen you around the Manor" She practically lived at the Malfoy Manor, she had her own room and everything of that sort, but not once did she recall seeing Godric. "I'm a Slytherin" She said with a nod, "what house were you in?"

Godric smiled at her controlled effort not to give into curiosity. It was something else that was for sure. His smile was charming and his quter-Veela charm was shining through.

I'm not exactly in to the whole Manor thing. Not exactly my scene. Pluse, there are a few people there that aren't exactly fond of me. He failed to mention that he was Draco's illegitimate son.

Smiling at the Slytherin comment, he winked. What house would you place me in? He said with mischief in his eyes. He was a Malfoy after all. It was kind of his Legacy to be Slytherin.

The waiter appeared with a dusty bottle, and two wine glasses. He placed the glasses in front of Godric and Rebecca and poured a small amount in Godric's glass. Godric gently sniffed the wine, then took a small sip.

He nodded and the man poured the glasses full.

I'll just have a large salad, and a rare stake. He said to the waiter without even waiting for the man to ask.

Godric's smile- actually, his whole face- made it nearly impossible for Rebecca not to blush. He was gorgeous- a god of a man, and to top that off: he was a complete gentleman and a total flirt. What else could you ask for in a guy? She definitely wanted to bring this man home after dinner. As he winked, Becca couldn't help but giggle, "I would place you in Slytherin for sure" She smiled widely at him. It probably was common sense that he was a Slytherin, for he was a Malfoy. Becca watched the waiter bring a bottle of wine to their table, and was glad to have a bit of alcohol. Lately, she had not been drinking too much, but she had to admit, those drunken nights were a lot of fun- she hoped tonight would be one of those nights.

As the man looked at her, Rebecca nodded, "I'll have what he's having" She said, smiling. "[b]So, what brings a man like you to Diagon Alley? Surely you had a purpose, I assume. I do hope I'm not ruining any of your plans.{/b]"

You would be correct. I am a Malfoy after all. His words were traced in honey, and his smile was more charming than a fairy tale Prince.

He was taking a sip of his wine when she asked about his buisness in Diagon Ally. He had to hide his smirk by letting the wine glass linger on his lips. Actually, my business was a spat of fun. I'll surly be needing it after the next few days, seeing as I've been offered a new job. He wasn't going to tell her yet that he had just gotten an Owl from Hogwarts.

However, that is neither here nor there my dear. What all classes are you taking at Hogwarts? He lightly brought the conversation back to her. It wasn't polite for a Gentleman to talk about himself.

As he waited for a reply, he sipped his wine, savoring the sweet flavor and the slight warmth that followed.

It's Time - Page 2 Empty Re: It's Time

Post by Rebecca Mulloy Fri Nov 26, 2010 8:58 pm

It wasn't long before Rebecca had really began to notice the Malfoy blood which ran through Godric's veins. The ways in which Malfoy's acted were always very charming, mainly to hoodwink people into liking them. Not that they were bad people, but they were never the most trustworthy, and Godric seemed to be 'trying too hard' or so to speak. It was difficult for Becca to believe that he was being true to her, or if he was being completely honest about himself. She was being as honest as she could to the boy, because she could see herself in the future with him; he was her type. Actually, the person he was being at the moment was her type; and she hoped that was the "real" Godric.

Becca took a sip of the wine the waiter had left for them, and savoured the moment. It was very sweet and fruity- her favourite, though she would have preferred champagne, but the event was not a celebration, and therefore did not call for it. Taking another sip, she thought of the classes she had been taking for her final year at the academy, "The usual: DADA, Charms, Transfiguration, Herbology, Muggle Studies, and Dark Arts. I enjoy most of them, apart from Dark Arts." Becca would not go on about the subject, she did not know much about Godric, meaning, if he was a supporter of the Dark Arts, she did not want to offend him with her beliefs. If he wanted the subject to carry on, he would ask . She also did not want to talk about herself too much; she didn't want to sound conceited.

"But," Becca continued, "enough about myself, I do hate droning on about my inglorious life. Why don't you tell me about yourself? I'm sure your life is more interesting than mine." She added truthfully with a beautiful smile. Becca never found her daily routines to be the least bit entertaining, never mind interesting. She usually spent a lot of her time getting herself ready for her relentless day; appearance meant a great deal to Rebecca, she always had to look her best, in case she came across a man like this. For this, she was extremely thankful for her vanity full of makeup. Afterward, Becca would tend to her household chores, in which she always thought belonged to her mother, but her parents were never really present. After that, she would just let the cards play out and see what else would happen. She would often travel to Malfoy Manor to see Suz, or hang around the Black Raven Bookshop.

As unusual as it would seem, Rebecca would often classify herself as a bookworm of sorts. She loved to read and write, which made her the oddball of the family. She was also very smart, a characteristic which was very unusual for such a preppy girl. As she had mentioned, she enjoyed her studies a great deal, and was always caught up in her work. However, sometimes she would pretend she hated school, as if she were a rebel, only because that was the manner in which her best friends acted, and she didn't want her brains to get in the way of her friendship. Becca found herself fading in and out of her own thoughts and was brought back to Earth. She took another sip of her wine as she waited for an answer from Godric.

Godric smiled impishly when she started talking about the classes she was taking.

Well that's different. he said when she mentioned the Dark Arts class. He of course wasn't going to say out loud that he was a practitioner of them him self, but that wasn't exactly a necessary bit of information. He had after all said that he had graduated from Durmstrang.

He thought about the classes and nodded his head. DADA is a good choice in curriculum. It will be invaluable in your life, even just knowing it, gods willing you never have to use it. He knew all too well the effects the Dark Arts could have.

When she asked about his life he just shook his head.

I was raised by the German Minister of Magic. He was the only father figure I had in my life, and he made sure I knew every thing I needed to in order to excel in life. At eleven I made my own wand under Germany's finest wand maker's close observation, and I was making potions even before I knew how to cast an Episky spell. He laughed gently remembering his very first potion. It was a potion that had allowed him to see a snake's dreams, that had been interesting.

But that was before my mother ever told me who my father was. That I was a Malfoy, my mother was the Minister's sister. About a year or so ago, he was murdered. All evidence pointed to a vampire named Ne'Os Emof. After that I left Europe and traveled around the world, Egypt, America, Brazil, Canada, Russia, every where I could. I stopped travailing after a while and came back to Hogwarts, but my cousin had left to graduate at Bouxbutons. So I went back to Durmstrang in order to graduate early my self. Now I bounce between my home in Germany, and London. He hadn't said a word about why, and he had no intention to do so. Malfoy Manor was here, and so were his... colleagues.
